I'm definitely a blind hog! :) I thought I was just following the instructions you had on the first page. What do you meant by "...non oc kernel stock as 3.5 did..."? I'm happy that I stumbled on something that helped you.

Well beta 3.5 had shins non oc kernel as stock so when you flashed 3.5 you had the non oc and the wifi fix is just a new kernel so it flashes over but when its flashed over the stock B08 it seems to do nothing but flashed over the non oc kernel it fixes everything
 
Also i will be updating the OP in the coming days ill add what was removed and what not proper install instructions and some more screeshots for people can see more of the ROM before they install

I flashed the B08 Rom from the first page of this post. What did that do for me? I guess I'm not familiar with the way Android OS is built.

Do you know of a tutorial for dummies that may be able to help me understand how you are building these ROM's?

A guide for dummies? Hmmm i dont think so but if your interested in making one me and the other devs are more then willing to share and flashing the B08 brings you down to B08 as thats what my ROM is built off of
 
If anybody is able to get wifi to allow data to pass please post your procedure. I'm able to get wifi to turn on and even "turn red" on the icon as connected to my router, but it won't let data pass thru.

I'm having trouble with wifi also. I'm working on trying to figure it out but may be distracted for a couple of hours when I have to help someone with something else. I'll get back to it when I can unless someone else has already figured it out. :)tk
 
Thanks for the Rom and recommendation Apollo. Have my Bluetooth headset connected and working. :)

Only problem I have so far is wifi giving me an error when i turn it on. Already used the wifi fix(new_kernel) zip and flashed it in cwm and fixed permission but to no avail.
 
my WiFi did work it did connect and everything just it wouldnt load anything...im guessing i had to restart router? but i dnt really use it :b so i just left it has it is.
 
My buddy Apollo asked me to tell you guys he will be back in a day or so. He is currently working on the WIFI fix for his ROM. We apologize for any problems you occur with this ROM, but he is working for a fix for you guys at this moment. He just needs a night off to relax his mind and take his eyes off all the 0's and 1's that this entails. Thank you for your patience and understanding. :)
 
Has anyone tried out of curiousity, going to their router's configuration, designating a static ip for the phone, and setting that in wifi settings? it seems like if It is connecting to the router but not passing data, its a dhcp/dns issue that won't automatically assign ...curious if this simple change will do anything
