Yeah it's the one Jim Smith edited. I just renamed it to 09 sleepy haloz but the credit is in the script to him and merc.

You guys are getting 5 hours? That's it? I get about 20 with fairly frequent internet usage. I guess maybe it's how I make my radio Wi-Fi. 3g eats up the battery bad no matter what you do so turn all data off unless I need to use the browser. It doesn't stop texts or calls.

Also auto sync stays of as well.

Wi-Fi sleep policy never.

3G is by far the largest battery drain on the Warp.

is the LMT the only thing that changed to blue? the rom rocks by the way still trying to figure out how to not get the lmt to show up but actually type P with swype

In settings tell it to show up on the upper left hand margins of your screen, or the bottom.

The blue/black/white theming theming was minor stuff (like check marks, menu selections and so on). I'm not a fan of a lot of color aside from things that can change easily like wallpaper, and I think adding big color changes to the majority of the rom makes it less universally appealing and opted to have the major theming done as add ons by other themers.

If you like the rom and would rather have a more extreme blue/holo look, flash the touch of ice cream jelly theme that is linked in the bottom of the first post that @skinnyjeans21 made on top of your current installation of Halo rom. It is super clean and looks really good. Probably one of my favorite themes for any of the roms on here. I'm really looking forward to seeing what he does with aliance rom when it drops. Talented guy :) Hit thanks on his posts where you see them if you like his work.

Actually, I've seen some themes for CM9 and CM10 that look pretty good with everything the same color, they're pretty bold :)

It's a personal preference. I'm not into bold. I didn't want to alienate a demographic of people by picking for instance red for everything. I doubt it would have gotten many hits.
 
I do not like red, do not know why, only like blue, green, white & gray tones, etc. My wife hates what I like:D. My son likes red and black.
 
I finally about to flash this Rom with skinny's theme again, and run it for the duration, until the Alliance Rom is completed. Will give my opinions and reports in a day or two.;)

It's installed already. I have been meaning to update settings to match so there would be no need for an external app but have had to deal with being in the hospital for a couple of days so I have just been lurking from my phone.

I highly advise not playing with concrete saws that are half your body weight at weird angles lol.

Even better, don't play with saws at all... limbs are very valuable these days, stay safe!
 
If wifiservice.smali is already in there I guess I probably shouldn't mess with it... sorry Lilbit:(
So does that mean that the settings.apk just needs an entry for the Wi-Fi tethering option?

That's it. The rom also uses ads launcher so you can create a shortcut to it. You'll find it under wifi activities

It's ok skinny, I believe I'm switching Roms until This gets an update.;) I really do use the USB tether quit a bit, and I need it.:D
 
OK. So I've been out for a couple of days now. I managed to cut an artery on the inside of my leg and sliced my knee cap clean through. I guess the blade was so hot from cutting concrete that it cauterized the wound right away??

Anyhow, misfortune has met with my warp. At first it was just a blown internal speaker, which was fine, I was going to keep it and just use it as a dev unit, but then for some reason yesterday my touch screen has become unresponsive for no reason that I can fathom. So I am out of the warp game as I bought an s2 now that they are uber cheap.

I talked to @skinnyjeans21, and I am going to hand over the rom to him so he can break his teeth on development. He is a talented themer, and always has great ideas and a cool vision. I think he will do some cool stuff as he learns more about development.

I have had a lot of fun with you guys, and everybody is super tight knit here. I scoffed about people saying it was a family here when I first joined the forum as I could find no emotive basis behind deving that would bring people so close. Well apparently I was proven wrong. You guys really do take care of each other! I think this is for sure one of them more unique user groups I have ever seen.

So officially this rom belongs to skinny. I don't know if one of the mods can some how make it so that he can edit the OP, or if he should just do his first update and start a new thread or what?

So long for now guys. Who knows, I may buy a dev unit and fool around here again, as it would for sure be worth the price of admission.
