You may be getting mine there son...... Still on the fence as to whether I'm buying another phone. I have all kinds of jelly covers, hard cases, OtterBox, Big ass extended battery, etc, etc,!!!

Isn't the otter box for the Warp like crazy expensive??

I wouldn't be able to upgrade if I had all the accessories that you have for the phone. At the very least I would sell them and add on for the money to buy myself a new phone

So the color is definitely in the framework-res.apk... secondary color, I'm gonna have so much finding it...

So now I'm on a hunt to find the right color reference... and change it from black to white. I can really use all the help I can get...

I've been digging through apks all day looking for the call log time reference and the recent call list color. I haven't determined which color to change yet and still can't find the call log time... will try more tonight...

If we could find the background image, I can use that to find exactly which file it is to change the image reference to a new png. Then I can take my time finding the real color...

I found out how to get a thin ics font into the status bar clock like in ics/jb, so now it looks really really close to what this rom is meant to look like :D I just need to read up alot more on smali so I can move around the quickpanel :)

Here's what I've got:

Then I removed the Captain Obvious "no notifications" text:

That one was before I changed the font, look at the clock in this screenshot:

And compare to this (and the other two screenshots):

So, what do y'all think so far? Pretty close, eh?

I have to say, the best thing you did so far was to fix the pull down getting stuck issue. That was soooooo frustrating hahaha. I like the thin font!

Thanks! It took me a few tries... I think I may have also found a workaround for clock font color without digging through smali, but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet... but it should make clock color MUCH MUCH MUCH easier to change for others :D

Sb43, your phone came in today :D

Thanks for the donation of a Warp :D

Awesome bro, now get your ass to work! LOL. I'm glad I could help. You're a person worth helping! I, as well as all the others (I'm sure), appreciate all of the hard work you've put into this phone. I hope that you can expand on all of your endeavors on this phone. I'm loving "7" so far. Keep up the good work!

Thanks man! I've already made progress with it, and now I can do more higher level stuff to this phone throughout the day :D So I'll make more better faster progress... while jamming to appropriate music

yay AndroidForums back on!! and I finally got this dev phone to get recognized as an adb device (didn't want to for some reason) so now I can start on the next addition to this phone.... the new boot animation! :D

Right now this is all I've got... I'm probably gonna make it more elaborate soon

Where is the text color specified? In phone/res/values?

Could the background be in the contacts apk? maybe in res/drawable?

I'm still trying to learn the Android file system in my spare time... Once I can figure out where to look it shouldn't be that hard... ;)

It's a secondary text color in framework-res, I don't know exactly which one anymore though because there's multiple colours defined there. If it's in smali, I can probably figure it out since my hands have been getting better at smali now

Edit: wait that gave me an idea

Might not matter anymore LOL My touch screen is going nuts... I tryed to type the letter m and I got xxzyzttyzddeeeeelkkkineeer :D

Try wiping the screen off, if the screen is even a little damp it goes crazy....

That gives me another idea :D

That was the first try followed by a cache/dalvik wipe. Then uninstalled touchpal keyboard... been using it for months with no issues. I may have installed something today thats conflicting... Guess it's time to flash something! You said don't bother downloading 7 yet since youre making changes... Let me know when ya have something to try out!

I might have something tonight

Are you using a different charger than you had been using normally? I've found that some of the el cheapo chargers make my touch screen do things like that while I've had it plugged in and trying to use it. I've had to throw a couple of them away due to that.

There's a keyboard detect feature, but it only works with JB+... I just rely on autocorrect with the letter "P" when using LMT or I'll just disable it when its not in use.

No, it was a software conflict. I got it fixed last night. For some weird reason Touchpal X keyboard went nuts when I installed AirDroid. I uninstalled both, reinstalled AirDroid then reinstalled the keyboard... All good now, thanks! I've had cheapo chargers cause some weird issues in the past. I steer clear of them :D

I've been running 7 for a while.... no issues so far. I run touchpal too, love that! However, don't download the contacts update. It's mostly Japanese. IDK how to convert any of that. I do notice that when the phone rings, it only rings once though.
