I've been running 7 for a while.... no issues so far. I run touchpal too, love that! However, don't download the contacts update. It's mostly Japanese. IDK how to convert any of that. I do notice that when the phone rings, it only rings once though.

That's odd... never happened with me and I'm running 7 on my personal phone and then some parts of 7 RCII. Btw, the boot animation is coming along nicely as well, it's in my dev unit, I think I just need to make a few little tweaks before adding it to the rom

I Cant wait for the boot animation, this is excellent!!!!!! :D

I'm gonna go ahead and flash 7, I can flash any updates as they come in. I need a new Rom, been a while since I tried Halo, I think it was 4.? Anyway, The Rom is a whole new beast now!!!

You're gonna be really surprised when you see the new status bar then :D I spent days polishing that up

I think I'll make a 6.5 release with some of the changes so I can take my time with 7

I installed HB7 on Public Mobile (Canadian) Warp. Now running it for some time. So far there are no problems. None whatsoever! This ROM is fast and smooth. This is the only Boost ROM usable on my PM phone (I tried them all). Smartmanvartan recommends flushing "Unification Portal", I skipped that step because it removes access to Quick Panel Settings.
There's one small hiccup (not a problem) with GPS, it takes long time to lock, even though there's plenty of sats in view, on previous versions 5.xx it would lock in few seconds.
Buddy you really did a great job on this ROM, I can't imagine what else can be improved here, since everything is already great. Thanks a lot. It's my daily driver now.

WHAT

IT WORKS ON PUBLIC WITH NO PORTAL!?

This is really great news!!! And the GPS... huh I haven't figured out why it got slower to lock on..

I'll rebuild from HB5 then to see what I did to the GPS

Thanks LilBit!

I found out why the AOSP 2.3.5 Messaging didn't wanna work with mms... it was missing the custom apns...

Its not that the rom always had the WRONG ones, just not the ones best suited for the messaging app that was included before I swapped it out :D but now I was able to successfully send and receive mms from my phone using the aosp messaging :)

So far so good here on my end, Looking forward to any updates, I will more than likely ride this Rom on my phone from here on out, Unless CM10 is finished first.

I am going to go with the Galaxy SIII from Boost in a few more weeks. I have Loved my Warp for over 2 years now, I thought about the 4G Warp, but like you Skinny, I must have Root, Roms, Tweaks, etc.

The SIII has a pretty large community going right now. Nothing is written in stone yet, but my plan is to move on to another higher end phone in a few weeks. HaloBean 7 is awesome though!!!

Wow, the bad luck doesn't end... microphone quit working... time for a new phone...

My wifes microphone quit working several weeks back, luckily she had some weird substances that clogged it up, i have no idea what she was doing for it to get in there, but i took several tooth picks and kept on picking the gunk out of it and it eventually started to work again, thank God

OH

YOU CAN RUB A TOOTHBRUSH ON THE SPEAKER AND IT MIGHT INCREASE THE VOLUME

I found that fix in an HTC forum, apparently they can get clogged. Rubbing it for a few minutes can unclog the speaker and even brighten the led light :D

Whoop upgrade!!

Well Boost just told me if I buy a new phone I lose my 40 dollar unlimited status... kinda ticked me off. So, I'm browsing now ;) S3 or S4 is in my near future... And the Warp can be a dev phone since I'm starting to learn the file structure... :D

Dude that sucks.... there's gotta be a workaround, like self activation?

I'm not getting the SII, my warp took water damage, but it's seemed to have fixed itself...?

No, it had water stuck under the screen cuz it was in my chest pocket all day when I went to a marching competition (our band had to stand in the rain from 2 pm- 5:45 pm because right when we're about to perform, thunderstorm hit... adding on to the water in my phone underneath my uniform)... it's gone now, even the water spot that was there is gone. Hopefully no permanent damage...

I think I know why candy crush didn't work....

I wen't through to the first 10 pages of this thread, and someone said that candy crush worked in Halo 1.1. Then it stopped in 1.99+. Since the theming isn't gonna do anything but make the rom look pretty, the Adreno GPU tweaks must be the cause of candy crush not working. However, it does make me wonder if any other apps may not work because of this. I'm going to back off on some of the performance modifications in exchange for battery life, because while the scores were better and higher with everything, they were inconsistent and really dragged down battery life. I'll get it to where its a consistently high score without killing battery or having so many startup services push the phone.

Well I went ahead and ordered the S3... so as of Tuesday my Warp will be a dev unit :D so if ya need to try anything a little off the wall I'm up for testing! And of course now I can really try some cache management tweaks I started working on a couple months ago since I don't need to use the phone daily ;)

You should make some mods or tweaks for the Warp now that you have a dev unit :D

That's the plan... I'm really just still trying to get a handle on the file system and figure out what files do what... Taking a little longer than learning html, css and php :D I did some DOS and Basic programming back in the day and have a basic understanding of Java. Smali isn't going as bad as I thought either LOL. Of course all this is with the help of google and Android Developers so I'm sure it will take a while...
