It sees mine just fine, well it didn't when I first flashed. Had to reboot and it's been running smoothly since :D
 
Awesome room, but I still can't send out mms messages. It works well with go sms, but still won't work with stock. I've done a clean install with reupdate, and cleared dalvik and fixed permissions. Trying sending pic several times still won't go.I know you are trying skinny jeans. Ill stick with gosms it's just a memory hog.
 
Same here works fine i even sent a few text via mms w no problems check settings and make sure u can send and recieve on data not just wifi
 
I dont know why it won't work for me. I thinking the files might be to large and mms app is not shrinking the size, how do i fix this?
 
It shouldn't have to, because this mms app is modified so that you can send a pic that's nearly qHD resolution I think? So large pics will take a while to send because we are on 3G, not 4G. But they definitely do send :D

Noticed that different rils for the messaging on these phones work differently for different areas and people. Perhaps sometime youcould add some flashable packages in case someone's mms isn't working skinny? Mine is fine

I thought mine wasn't working at first a while back when I sent a large pic, turns out it was just slow in sending. This time I tested with a screenshot, that's really small in size and it sent just well... so if anyone's having issues they can try sending themselves a screenshot to test... as far as rils, isn't that on a kernel level?
 
Probably, i just noticed the difference due to DM's ChaOS. I do suppose size has something to do with it. I had to shrink one of my photos from 5MP to a much smaller size to send it to my bro. Dunno, MMS issues suck.
 
HaloBean 9 is now in the works! First change is a new powernap script, after reviewing the current one, it sets the min speed to 122 and max to 368... I've changed the max to 245 to save more battery life. Also, wifi consumes a lot of power, so I'm trying to rework it so it doesn't use as much power. This iPhone came in kinda handy, I'll admit, because it got me asking questions... "why do hipsters love this thing so much? How can they not worry about turning off their Wi-Fi when they leave an area and still have power the next day? And why does it feel like I'm holding a credit card in my hand??"

EDIT: Wifi modifications are coming along nicely...qcom_cfg.ini was the culprit of the high power consumption, so I played with some values and set new power consumption caps... wifi is working just fine right now, I just gotta compare speeds and make sure that hasn't taken much of a hit.

EDIT OF THE EDIT: Speeds are just fine, it gets reduced down to 1 MB/s when Wi-Fi is idle and speeds up to meet needs when there is a download/upload in progress now :D battery life should be greatly increased now :)
 
Hope the new release helps! HaloBean 7 dramatically drains my battery without me even using it and i tested it on both of my batteries :(

This is a suggestion but is it possible to add a feature that allows you to put your phone on airplane mode but still be able to use wifi but not your data? My friend did it with their phone.

I know, HB7 was a mess with battery life... not sure where that happened, honestly. Thats why HB9 is going to have another overhaul; on a low system level. As far as wifi on airplane mode...

This is a really great app I use on my phone, I haven't thought about integrating the feature as a part of the rom for some reason though. It should be part of the rom though... :D
 
I'm sure that CAN be done.... I'd put it in a separate thread though, because that can be made as an init.d2 script that can be added to roms as an add-on... I'll look it up and see if thats been done
 
I want to check out the latest but I'm afraid to as my warp is acting like my evo did before it kicked the bucket. I'm going to see if I can get a new phone in the morning (couple boost phones on sale for black Friday) looking like I might be getting the Hydro edge for $69.99 at radio shack.

Keep up the work Skinny its very appreciated.

Wait til cyber monday, things will probably be on a bigger sale :D
I just got a new otterbox for 14.99 online, free shipping, no sales tax, and no bs :D I also got some headphones :) HUGE sales tonight... I wouldn't get the hydro, really bad specs aside from it being weatherproof.

I don't have the ability to shop online :mad: because I know I could do better.

The specs on the edge seem better than the warp and the lack of 4g doesn't bother me as there's almost no 4g here. The dual core processor would be nice too & waterproof is a big selling point to be as I get sick of putting my phone in a ziplock all the time lol.
 
Definitely difference between hydro and hydro edge hahaha my bro put an order in for the edge last night. I mean, who doesn't like milgrade stuff?
 
I guess y'all are right... That's why I bought an otter box. Got on for $14.99 online :D

Anyways, the rom has better battery life, but it's still not good enough... needs more cleaning upppp in system files, there are a couple of files that have one or two useful lines and 200 that have been commented out... 3 files alone, after having been cleaned, reduced the rom 2 megabytes!

I would say definitely so. IIRC there is a binary in either /bin or /xbin which allows for terminal control of the radio connections. If I have time, I'll do a little research and report back.
