I have updated to rom version VII. I am completely lost as how to update to the latest version of VIII.I When I go into recovery I do see that my sd card is not mounted I have tried to mount but have been unsuccessful. Not suree if this has something to do with it or not. Can someone please give me a step by step instruction on how to install the updated ROM. I do have the roms on my sdcard. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Step by step instructions.
I have followwed those instructions and I get the error message install fail. I have wiped the cache and davlick and tried to unzip and still get failed message
ok, does flash mean reboot in recovery mode and select the file? I am very new and trying to learn how this all works. Thank you for your patience.

I flashed viii, then viii.i over vii and thought it wasn't going to wipe data. Not only did data get wiped, but I'm still on the previous build, and so get update notifications. Did I miss something?

Hmm, Lets try this, do a factory data reset, then re flash the rom and updates in the order posted above.
Edit" you can do a reset this way also go into settings/privacy,factory data reset.
reboot into recovery, then re flash noob VII, then noobVIII update only then noob VIII.I

I have reflashed and get the following error messages:
Unable to mount sdcard (tw_mount)
Failed to mount sdcard (No such file or directory)
Error flashing zip/sdcard/noobVIII.

I would just like to say that this is the fastest ROM I have ever run...however
1. My data speeds are awful (yes I have tried every single tweak/script available)
2. The phone is horribly glitchy when it is plugged in charging/usb. For an example, while plugged in USB, when I have locked screen or even swipe to unlock enabled, it may or may not recognize the swipes properly.
Appreciate the ROM MrBobo.....but please address these issues and it will go down as the most important ROM for Warp ever made. Thanks.

From what I've read and experienced, those issues aren't very common on his rom. I recommend that you 1) backup your apps using titanium, 2) clear dalvik cache and cache partition, 3) reflash n00b VII, n00b VIII update, and n00b VIII.I update in that order, 4) reboot and report back to here.

I recommend following the troubleshooting tips in post three, for the SD card read issue I recommend making a backup of your SD to your PC then wiping your SD card and doing a fresh install.
For the poor signal, make sure you update your profile and prl through the settings menu, this rom won't give you bad signal.
For the lockscreen issues, I recommend a factory data reset, you can try going into recovery and wiping cache then advanced clear dalvik, same for the led blinking red. If that doesn't work, you have a bad install and should start over.

I agree with Mr Bobo, you need to resolve the unmounted sd card issue.
You will not be able to flash anything from an unmounted sd card.

Sounds like a card error, probably need to back the card up, then format it and try again.

Wipe everything, and re flash. This rom is bangin! It works, (EVERYTHING, and then some, Believe me)! I'm puttin this puppy thru the paces! I got a 6102 on "antutu". No complaints here!

Thanks, yes it will remove holo but you can download it from the play store
