Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] Warp OEM 2.70

I have a question, when i use my phone as a hotspot i want to use the security option so no one can use it so i add my password and save it, but when i connect to it on my laptop it has no security and its open to anyone, how do i fix this?

I changed the network ID then it worked, well temporarily.
When i disconnect and try to get back on it, it allows me to without the security
permissions, is there something i'm doing wrong?

Why not just tether it? Then you shouldn't have to worry about security? Just an idea!

On a loosely related note, I actually attempted to complete this recently and found my free hosting account unworthy. Okay, okay, more like not as full-featured as I'd like. Same difference :P lol

So I bought a domain name. And I'm in the middle of making this new project page come together. It will replace my Dropbox as the official download point for Warp OEM as well as any other ROMs and projects I make in the future and - since I now possess unlimited bandwidth (:rock: YEAH!! :rock:) it will eliminate embarrassing little issues like that Dropbox lock I had a few weeks back upon the release of WOEM 2.00. Sorry about that again, guys. *facepalm*

Quick question.... Anyone running the Powernap2 on this rom? I just downloaded it and moved it to the correct folder as per instructions in OP. Do I need to delete Poernap thats in that folder or will pn2 run automatically? Thanks.
 
I flashed 2.51 then the update a couple of days later, no pn2 in either folders, just powernap. Now pwernap and powernap 2 are in that folder
 
pn2 was my shorthand for powernap :p delete one of them cuz it could cause issues, you'll run into a lil trouble and your rom may crash
 
Thats what I was thinking but wasn't sure. I didn't delete it just moved it to my SD card in case I need to go back to it or something. Better safe than have to reflash or something. Thanks for the advice SkinnyJeans!

More than one concurrent instance of PowerNap can cause interference between them, and may fail to wake your device properly, leaving it at a much lower speed than that at which it's supposed to be.
 
Yeah I was working on it a while back, but I guess I never got around to finishing it with all the stuff I've got going on. I have a semi-completed version somewhere on my laptop... part of the problem is this ROM goes through frequent updates so I'd have to update my themes to keep up with merc, and I just don't have the time for that anymore. I'll give it another shot though

for some reason my battery started draining fast at a tremendous rate, i checked to see whats running in the background and nothing much is taking up the battery life, everything was fine until a couple of days ago. i have the latest Rom installed, does this have powernap enabled? i replaced the one that was in the folder with version 2 and removed the .txt

Funny you should mention this... I had the same problem with the battery draining fast a few times now, and I haven't figured out what it is. I was thinking my battery is getting old since I had the phone for over a year now.

The latest version should already have power nap 2. Check your governor and scheduler settings. I recommend smartass/sio.
