Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] Warp OEM 2.70

This Rom does indeed rock!! I have tested 90% of the Roms developed here for the warp, This one is The Top one in my book so far.. But I sill have to test Halo extensivly when it gets the wi-fi usb tether option added.

Hello again,

Some more comments and questions. :)

This Rom still seems very stable. I've been running at 1.613 GHz CPU without issue. What is everyone else running at? With regards to ad blocking, Angry Birds Star Wars has many ads that are not blocked. That said, before I installed this Rom I couldn't even play the game, so thank you!

I purchased today's Humble Bundle, https://www.humblebundle.com/, but only one game, Organ Trail, from the bundle works on the phone. I blame that on the phone though, not the Rom.

I'm curious how this Rom was developed? Did you start with the base Android operating system and customize it for this phone, or did you start with the base ZTE Warp Rom and fix it?

Thanks!

Good to know! Glad you're enjoying it. :)

Personally, I run at 1.4GHz. Plenty of power for what I need to do and not too hard on the battery. But mainly because that's the rated maximum speed by the CPU manufacturer and I wanna get every ounce of life I can out of my Warps! :D

I've noticed a lot of the "push" ads aren't blocked. I think maybe they aren't downloaded but come from within the app, so this might be how they could get around the blocking.

I'm noticing the opposite though... on older versions of my ROM I could play Xelorians... now I cant  I gotta figure that one out. Maybe it's just a fluke.

To make WOEM, I started with 100% stock B10G ZTE Android Gingerbread... then tweaked, fixed and customized the crap out of it. :D

Thanks for the replies. I'll think about the ad blocker LilBit.

Is B10G the ZTE's version number? Where did you get a copy of that? Just pull it straight off a new phone? What happens if ZTE released an update to the OS, do you ignore it or incorporate their changes?

Really? I did not know that. I have Ad Free as an apk and side load it on every rom, same as History erasure pro, I side load that as well, on every rom I flash.

Google Ad Free.apk, I'm sure it's out their somewhere for us to find. I bought it back when the play store was under another name, then they refused to let me have it after the name change.

Welcome to AF marco2am! :D

The ROM's version is different from the Gingerbread version, its like an app version. Most of the ROM's here are 2.3.5 based. When you flash, you'll still be on Gingerbread 2.3.5. Flash any one you like, but the latest (2.53) is always the best option.

Some things you should remember, never ask for ETA's on things, the developers develop for free aside from the donations we give them, and follow the site guidelines :D remember this and you'll be alright :D

I'm only saying this because some of the new members make these mistakes like asking "when will you fix yadayadayada" and people aren't really supposed to. Its like an unwritten rule.

Welcome to our Warped Family! :D

lets hope so jahah :p.. sure thing theres nothing wrong with that :)

Don't forget to make backups!!! Nandroids, just in case something goes wrong with a flash, it does happen from time to time, and a backup is absolutely crucial to restoring the phone. :)

Just boot into recovery and choose backup. And I keep several copies of different roms on my sd card also. Just in case!!:)

I downloaded and installed OEM 2.53 it works grate but it removed my browser. do I have to install another browser, or how do I use the one from before. . also some apps came along with it like terminal and another supersu and sipersu browser I think, what do those do. and can I uninstall them if they aren't useful to me.?
