Nope, not overclocked at all. You CAN if youw ant with the OC kernel, but that's optional. If you flash the OC Kernel, there will be some issues with wifi/bluetooth.

No not oc, but don't do it yet. Is valiano or whatever rom your using b08 or b08c? Shins is b08 and if you are on b08c then u will have to flash a stock b08 rom first
 
yeah i dont want to oc cause i usually use wifi every now and then.
and vilano is bo8c. i was trying to stay away from anything that is bo8 cause i dont know what it will do to my phone. damn i ran into this same issue with the starship rom and i dont want to screw anything up.:confused:

Actually I just looked up vilano rom. It says it's b08 based but works on b08c. But actually zte is doing away with b08c so in my eyes b08 is better. It won't hurt your phone to flash a stock b08 rom. In the every thing root there in the stickys is stock b08 and c roms. Put it on your sd card and flash it just like shins rom. Then let the phone boot, then go right back into cwm and flash shins rom then your set


So just download the stock rom and shins beta 3 and put them both on the sd card. It will take less than 10 minutes

I use b08c and it works fine.
 
man all you guys are amazing im gonna do this right now! but i do want your guys opinion should i just go ahead and load a bo8 rom just because or should i just keep it this way? just like SelfElevated2 said it bo8 might be better.


and its gonna be a little before i flash cause im doing it all through dropbox lol i can put shins rom on my sd card in zip right? i dont have to put in cwm backup?

I would definitely flash b08 first. It's safer to do. Don't take the short route cuz it usually doesn't go far. Read the sticky I told you about then choose

I must've downloaded the beta 3 when it had the OC kernel then cuz I do have issues with my wifi and bt some days... Where do I find just the non OC kernel and how do i flash it?
 
Ok I found the non oc kernel by downwiththemachine that was posted a few pages back. How should I apply this? should I do it with CWM or using fastboot and adb push?

You don't need it because you aren't using the oc kernel. But for the hell of it, put it on your sd card, go into cwm, clear both caches then install from zip and reboot . Just like you would flash a rom. It won't change anything on your phone.

I thought Shin said that he took out the oc kernel just a couple days ago? And if its already non oc then no need as the wifi/bt issue won't change



EDIT: *FACEDESKS* I went back and reread it... Stupid random reading dyslexia...

Let me know how it goes with a screen shot Prinny. I'm curious, I'm 99 percent sure beta 3 itself has wifi problems

I've fixed permissions, reflashed, wiped data and caches. I've given up because the problem is in the rom not a lack of knowledge

Wifi works fine. Its upside down...but you can clearly tell that Wi-Fi is working lol...
 
yeah wifi will work most of the time but I've had to reboot to get it to connect like 7 times already and I just got this phone yesterday

Yeah so now I'm stumped. I definitely couldn't connect at the college yesterday. I stayed after on the computer re flashing and no luck. Flashed unitology just to try it and wifi worked, flashed back and still a no go. Thanks for testing though. Guess I was wrong
 
Try fixing permissions under advanced. and rebooting your phone perhaps. But Wifi works for me lol.
 
Yeah I tried to fix permissions just now and had no effect. I had to reboot again as it wouldn't allow it to connect until a reboot just like before...
 
so is this happening with the normal beta 3 zip from the download links or whats goiong on here?

cause if thats what it is then its gonna be a huge waste of time for me:( i havent flashed yet cause dropbox s taking ages to export to my phone and im using wifi

I'm not 100 percent sure. Prinny just flashed from the link. And his works fine. I'm using the original download but with down the machines non oc kernel. I don't know right now. But I can say words cannot describe how incredible beta3 is . It's one of a kind, things no other rom has right now, very stable and quick. I suggest you try it and you always have your cwm backup if for some reason you have wifi problems. Let me know how it goes. Try the Holo launcher, It's pretty sweet
 
i will try to get some work done on this sat. i have to work friday so sat. will be my only chance. 60 hour weeks right now at work..... i will be working 30 hours this week because i started wed.
