oh yeah.. thats because the default min freq is always 122, to prevent super laggy boot... and also for compatibillity..... not all warps were created equal, thats why the new freqs are optional and not forced
 
Antutu benchmarks are not consistent IMO. I can run 10 and get anywhere from 7k to 7800. Sd card read and write ALWAYS fluctuate for me, the range is probably 80-400 points... they are most stable on noop(32GB patriot memory class 10). Database io fluctuates ~100 points 3d Fluctuates about ~200. Gonna flash teh kernel now.
 
7671 on Bench. Did it with Smartass2/cfq and got best sd write I've gotten(10.3). Read is only 3.5 mbytes... but tests 31.2 mbytes in sd tools... that's just antutu being lame.

Definitely leave the HW3d on IMO. In the open gl 1.1 tests I capped out at 59.53 fps... on test kernel 3 was getting around 56. Didn't affect the gl 2 tests.


Important: No videos will HW accelerate on this kernel for me

Updating VIDC seems to have broken the HW acceleration for videos entirely? Can anyone confirm?

Tested using Alien Kernel 4 RC 1

Videos:
H.264 1280x720 d/l from youtube(used to accelerate)
Xvid 640x360 rip from own dvd(used to accelerate)
WMV9 1280x720 (never accelerated)

He wasn't being a hard ass, really :) he's right, he just worded it very bluntly. We shouldnt ask for eta's on things, the devs (in this case Dm) do this for free and for our community, so its not right to ask for eta's. Just a heads up ;)

As for what needs to be fixed, I'm assuming you're talking about CM10, so... yeah first post has all that info. I know wifi and mms are both partially working, and sensors needed fixing too I think? And camera was on the list for sure. Hope this helps :)

Didn't like him scolding me about something not related to my question (I didn't ask when anything would be done) I think he should be warned by mods about that behavior.

I thought it was just me, but yes, I can confirm the same results here.

He was just giving you a heads up for future reference, it wasn't to be offensive or anything it was just so it wouldn't happen later on :)
 
I lurked before I posted so I knew better and never got scolded. In fairness the way it was said was pretty harsh.
