Root Bootloader cracked **Update - This was a fake **

I noticed that he did do the same thing he did with the "we can unlock the bootloader" where he throws out how and then says "I'm not working on this and all the info has been passed to the ones that need it" its the same thing he did back then. However back then he did fianlly decided to work on it. We all know how that turned out.:(

But if this is a deliberate attempt to troll the X community I have to say he's a major D**k and possible mentally ill . LOL

But why would he do all the work to get the keys and then stop without creating a working SBF to prove it works? odd.
 
So I get a Tbolt launch day and last night I'm reading engadget and there is an article saying the keys to the bootloader have been found. Guess its a good thing I didn't sell my X yet huh?
 
This information is out-of-date.

Several assumptions were made about the bootloader which made the feasibility of this attack much less likely. Only chance of getting keys now is to factorize the public keys. Hash collision attack still seems possible.

1. I read that Fab is as close to done with updating ApeX as you can get...bums me out...

2. Then i see this thread and get pumped...

3. Then i get to the end of this thread...bummed...


BLAH! on ApeX 1.4.1 i remain...
 
So wait I guess I didn't read the latest posts in the thread here. Now they are saying the keys are a fake? Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea buying the Tbolt.
 
Just go read at the end of this post. Looks like we still are at a dead end with another hoax. Enjoy your Tbolt.
 
OP should be kind and post an edit at the beginning that saves everyone from reading the whole thread (or rather those of us that do and then post), getting excited, and then getting a big let down at the end. just sayin...:cool:
 
Ugh, was getting hopeful for some more fun to be had for the next year until I'm up for an upgrade. I guess that's not happening for now anyways. Very annoying. Well, will definitely be buying ABM (anything but motorola).

Since the OP from the original "Bootloader Cracked" is not able to update his post, I figured I would post all evidence stating why the bootloader is not cracked so that you dont get your hopes up and stop everyone from reading the long post to only get let down.

Sorry for everyone getting their hopes up. Here's hoping one day we get our own bootloaders. :rolleyes:

yeah i dont see why someone would do this. its just wrong, but if it turns out fake, no one in there right mind will ever trust this guy again
