FYI, the coupon code "woot" still works for wiredforless.com and the Soundgate M2.
$5 + shipping.
So thinkgeek is out of the Tetrax X-Way. Anywhere else to order these besides directly from Tetrax? Really liking the design of the Tetrax.
Those of you using the M2 mount by Soundgate... are you able to use it in Landscape and normal mode with the same mounting circle?
Any pictures showing it in both would be awesome!![]()
i really want the tetrax x-way but at the moment, $5 for the soundgate M2 seems way too hard to ignore and pass up!!! But, I have a question for those that own it. When not in use, does it fold back completely onto itself (clam-shell like), so that it's somewhat flat? Or does it stay standing up, like in most of the pictures?
Ok you're really not helping me talk myself out of the $35 and going for the $5!!!it does fold down onto itself when not in use. i had problems getting it just right to stay up and then easily retract (you have to use the included tool to tighten/loosen the connection). my problem was that i could not get the disk to stay stuck to my device. i followed the directions to the letter, tried both disks, it just did not work for me. and i hated sticking it to the dash. i got the terra x way and i LOVE it. it's perfect, it stays where you put it (so long as you follow the directions about how to take your device off the mount), it's tiny, and it makes it look like your phone is floating in space while you drive. holds the phone very well, and i drive like a maniac. also, though some people dislike the disk on the back of the phone, i personally love it, because when i set my phone down now, it angles up on the table, so i can easily see the screen. could not love the xway more. did not like the m2 soundgate. wouldn't buy another even for $5.
and the x way comes with 2 regular disks for the phone, plus i think two other disks that i think are for a larger device? they are smaller, little dots. i feel like there is one other, but i can't remember off hand what it looks like. but there are definitely two disks for the phone. i had zero problem getting it to stick to my verizon gel case.
It comes with four disks:Quick question, how many discs does the Tetrax x-way come with?
Which one works better with the INC?It comes with four disks:
1 small disk (smaller than a dime)
1 medium disk (~dime sized)
1 large disk (little smaller than a quarter)
1 large disk with thick adhesive...probably best for things with non-flat surfaces
Any new docks people have purchased, second thoughts on docks that have bought?
It also helps support the weight. The X-WAY is designed to be able to hold heavier devices.I believe the X provides support from the back so the phone doesn't move around much when you're pressing on the front lcd.
Where's the best and cheapest place to get the xway? I know they're website, but is there any other, LEGITIMATE place?
U have TWO!!?? Why are you so greedyI ordered my XWAY from THINKGEEK, which I understand is out of it. I also ordered directly from TETRAX and it came very quick, but with no discount.
