Root [CDMA] {CDMA} [LINARO][Rom][11/21/12][JB 4.1.2]ParanoidAndroid 2.99 Official

So far, very little difference from PA aside from a couple things here and there. Don't have the new Gmail though. Just native email. The new camera looks nifty though. First thoughts though haven't really tested much so far.

All I can say is wow. I'm officially a flashaholic now. Was worried about downgrading my hboot but glad I did. Everything seems smooth. Makes me feel like its a whole new phone. Can't really test my games they won't install probably cause they were for ICS. Very nice ROM and its nice to finally have cynmod on my evo. Until more updated stuff comes out for jb it probably won't be my daily but I'll be switching back and forth often!

K keep us posted, also I should of mentioned this as I saw it somewhere and was reminded, if you want to flash an update of the current Rom you have and it requires a wipe, you can always use 4EXT advance backup and back up the data. This way once you do a full wipe and flash the Rom, then you do the initial set up and once done, boot back into recovery and do the advance data restore, and your phone is exactly as it was, with your full set up. Now sometimes there are certain things that have changed in the Rom update that will not allow this, but for the most part it usually always works. I don't use it bc I am one that always likes to start from fresh to avoid issues if you start having issues with a ROM, so it eliminates the question if something was corrupt in the data restore. ;)

You can try it, you will see it works great and in no time your back up an running in 2.3 of the time.

This is pretty close to a daily for anyone, it is mine now, even the hiccups ;)

Won't play my modern combat 3 . Nor any of my 3d Gameloft games. I don't use this as phone. Only a WiFi and gaming device, if I can't play my games its of no use to me. I love the ROM I'm typing this on it right now. This is not the ROMs fault its game lofts but jb is still new so we shall see. I now have .4 different android operating systems to switch back and forth which is fun. Gingerbread is the only os I can get 3d games working on.

Great ROM so far still smooth looks amazing. And besides my ICS games not working seems like a great stable jb ROM with a hiccup from time to time.

Do you get any delays sometimes on an incoming call on BTooth, sometimes when I answer, I have to put the phone to my ear until it switches over to my Btooth, and does the same on 3 different Btooth devices. Does not always do it though. ;)

Called texts wifi and all working for me. Even cam corder

Smartened up and just made a nand after setting up :D

I'm actually not sure as I don't have any blue tooth devices that i use. Then again I don't want to be out in public and make people think I'm actually talking to them as well :p

No delays here on calls. Although i still cant get video to work even after i flashed the newest ketnal in the locked thread. I can hear the video, just not see them.

I'm hoping that the video problem is fixed soon, beside that it's an amazing Rom, and I hope that he'll include the new gmail.

I also dig the new camera.

If I read right the new Gmail should have been in the linaro pa vs b but didn't have it.

Edit: oops nope don't know where I got that from lol

Temp fix if you want to try it

Video Playback
Fix: download com.adobe.flashplayer.apk from here: http://db.tt/gdSlsVEb then do

adb install com.adobe.flashplayer.apk
P.S.
Working on -o3 optomizing the rom or -o2

MMS not working for VirginMobile??
Fix: download this themed mms apk: Newmms1-0rev6.apk
Or this unthemed mms apk: Mms.apk
Then install with root explorer by replacing with old mms.apk and set proper permissions rw-r--r--
Reboot

You now have mms recieve.

A little old but I haven't changed the setup. My battery is draining like crazy. I dunno if it's because of the different governor settings that came with this version. Also with my phone plugged in and fast charge enabled it was getting really hot.

Also seem to have less available ram too.

I found out as well when using fast charge, battery drains faster that normal so I stopped using it.
