I have this app as well. Just be warned that there are problems with the data restore. It works fine for just making a flashable zip of the apk files but you will be missing data...
 
Well for now I am trotting back over to Zred XL, especially since he just posted a new release. Again this ROM stop allowing me from receiving text, and I can't seem to get a proper answer from the Dev. I received numerous calls this morning asking why I had not answered their text, LOL So until this issue can be resolved, or why it happens to some and not others, I have to stay on Sense, I need text for work. I love JB, but you get my point.

I have tried to troubleshoot, but I guess some AOSP and AOKP just do that to some. It might be an app, not sure, I can't see what app could be causing this issue, I did not restore any text with an app, I also did a fresh install the last time I had the issue and had to go back to sense to update profile, then I fresh flashed, worked fine for a few days and then again, no text. :(
 
This is what I experienced with 2.55:

It has fixed my MMS (both sending/receiving), but video recording is very buggy and I can't get ANY video to play. Youtube and Netflix both do not work.

Anyone know of a video fix for 2.55 ?

Man, this whole flashing business is like a drug. Once you flash, you can't stop!! I've done so much flashing in the past week that I might as well buy a trenchcoat! :p
 
He is working on video, says he is rebuilding the tree and it seems to be working with Video, many are still skeptical, we will see. I assume there will be a release soon, will keep you post

I spent half a day on Zred, and then tonight flashed back PS 2.55 and text started coming back in, so we will see, if I get any more calls, lol

I can tell you this, the phone does run much better on Zred though, here is what I mean by that, the bluetooth more clear, speakerphone clearer, phone dialer snappy, etc... but I like JB, like a kid with his hand in a cookie jar, LOL

I knew you couldn't stay away from jb for long :D
 
Like I said if it happens with the text, then I will be back to Zred, I was going to install his new update, but figured I give it one more try first, lol

On another note, good job on the Rom thread, as I mentioned I added to the Sticky thread and added it in the change log. ;)

Don't blame ya! JB looks so sexy compared to ICS. The UI is great !

Can't wait for the video fix. :D

Thanks a bunch sir! Still not done with it, might try and get it finished tomorrow. Might even add kernels into it too.

I must admit that Drop's Roms have always been reliable and snappy. ;)

I will most likely go back, if for not at least to test his new Release.
