I haven't flashed the extras but just downloaded to check. Here is a screenshot of what's in the extras zip:

Pa prefs is now built/baked in whichever the proper term it is limited however

OK. Just flashed. Were GAPPS supposed to be included in the ROM?. I know i wiped everything. Lol
The play store was there to my surprise. Only bug i see so far is keyboard seems a little slow. And swype is not working. You can see the trail from the gesture but no words or letters appear

Hmmm he has gapps posted along side the rom.. So I assume it's not included...? That's odd...

As far as the lag, maybe it's related to the launcher issue he mentioned?
There's actually a few small issues with the latest Trebuchet, so basically expect the first 5 or so minutes to be a little glitchy, once it settles in it will run NICE!

I think he mentioned there was Tiny Gapps included and also said to let it settle for a few hours and things should work better.

**Please note - This is still pretty experimental, however I been running it for 2 days and it's pretty damn nice once you have let it settle for a few hours and maybe 2 reboots. I'm going to be posting a bug tracker on my bitbucket or github, not sure which. I'll post the link so that when you guys want a feature or a bug fixed, I'll get them in my email and can work on it as soon as I can squeeze it in!
 
To be honest I wasn't all that sure what they were either until someone brought it up in our pac-man github for an older device. So we all kinda thought that if you don't want the full blown gapps its a nice alternative and if you do, then you can flash them. Kind of win win.

I'll tell you too, I been flashing this gapps pack I found on xda by LaboDj http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37425124 very nice and the whole thing is aroma based so pick what you like just make sure if you remove anything that something may not run correctly as it may depend on it. I usually just flash and install all the gapps and that's it and have had great results. PlayStore in his pack is modded to remove restrictions and other stuff themed or modded with tweaks found in various forums. Also the keyboard that comes with it is smaller and more responsive than stock ATM. Trust me its pretty cool.

Hope you guys know you don't need to flash paranoid prefs anymore. And I am working hard on a 3.0 release for us as well of the PA ROM. I am close but I had to modify so many things as many parts weren't compatible with our device so its been longer than expected. But I am close to a release. PAC though takes priority so tonight I'll most likely release a gsm build and a VM build for all the evo v users and I am testing ota packs for flashing without the full wipe. Busy busy! And make sure to flash the latest version as its way better (the one I put up that has FEB27 in the zip file name.)

Oh sorry forgot again to mention the new builds don't need pa prefs at all. So I'll have to make a new PAC extras .zip so I would recommend not installing because the integrated pa prefs has everything and more than the old version. And works much better because when I say limited I meant in respect to some of the custom functionality from pa itself which should stay theirs. You won't actually see anything different as Its not related to the pa prefs application.
 
Small bug to report.
Seems no multi-tasking -

I was streaming tune in radio - when a text or IM came in radio streaming stopped.
Same for YouTube or any streaming video.

Not a deal breaker...just one of those things!

I'm working on some of the threading issues but in the meantime I promissed a VM version and a gsm and although I been up working since 3:30 I found a little free time to get both done! Gsm works great but couldn't find VM testers so if anyone wants here is my latest everything just let me know! This is ridiculously nice. The only problem I am seeing is that Bluetooth doesn't stay on for more than 10 minutes and once it is off it will not turn back on.

I had this happen today as well. Had to reboot then it worked OK again for a while.

Calls are much quieter than they were when I was stock, is this a setting somewhere i m maybe missing?

Other problem I'm having is sending MMS...flashed the mmsfix.zip, no luck at all.(reflashed the update, and the mms fix right after and it seems to be working!)
 
Finally flashed tonight. So far the issue I'm having is wasted screen space on 4x4 grid. It's like the icons clump towards the middle and there are huge gaps at the top and bottom....

Also the new lock screen... I realize this is android, not the specific rom but i would lovely to be able to disable the swipe between 3 lock screens and just have one lock screen. Maybe it will grow on me but I hate not being able to disable new features that annoy me.
 
I read others having the same issue, I was going to flash last night also, but decided to wait as he was going to have another release and then I got tied up, so glad I waited, LOL :D

Man I really don't like the new stock email. It's horrible in portrait mode... I got rid of the new email and flashed the old stock email. Somehow it updates it to the new version though :confused:

I don't get it. How can I use the old stock email from say version 19?
 
Try flashing the 4.2 Gapps and see how that is, some like it better. also you can change the settings in the Gmail app to 360

Hey man try this,
Easy fix would be to change the settings under hybrid properties under the settings menu.(open,swipe right, select apps
Find Email,swipe to layout and ui, Change from 600 to 360 apply and your golden. this will make it look like the normal layout.

Thanks Don, that worked! It even got rid of the dual panel style which I assumed would still be there. It's back to normal again :)
