toggle the speaker phone in call to fix the volume...:smokingsomb:
 
I flashed BT 16.2 so I could choose my own default settings and rom wouldn't boot. First time that's happened to me... Kinda weird. I miss sweep 2 wake :(
 
I think that is because he has been compiling the Kernel with his latest releases, so that might be the reason why it is not booting, now sure but just a thought.

I also think that BT is more that kernel related, I believe it is a little of both Kernel and Rom, and I mean mainly JB Roms. I am not on this Rom and have been back on the PA Rom and never had issue with BT, and now all of a sudden my BT does not stay connected, it will work for 5 to 10 minutes then disconnect. So it is not only this Rom, most JB Roms seem to have issues here and there. JMO

March 3rd build from PAC site is awesome so far I flashed the labo DJ gapps CMB mentioned he uses only sys app I removed was apollo other than that I kept everything else intact
 
Is anyone on the March 3rd build yet? There is no logcat so I was just interested in what changes he made there. I am still on the Feb27th build and extremely happy with it. I have had no problems at all (I don't use Blue Tooth), not one reboot, extremely smooth and fast.:)

I'm not sure what is new i have been on a flash frenzy flashing every build he releases so I don't stay on one build too long you can wait for CMB to post a change log or wait for some one more knowledgeable to flash and dig in
 
Does the DJ Gapps have the 4.2 Camera in it ??

The only real complaint I had was the extremely small email folder settings. I could barely read what folder was what. A gentleman on the other site posted a way to enlarge it. Change the settings under hybrid properties under the settings menu.(open, swipe right, select apps
Find Email, swipe to layout and ui, Change from 180 to 320).
 
I've had a few random reboots. Always boots back up though, so far, none of that random reboot and then stuck on boot animation.

Has anyone else tried the hdr camera? I was kind of excited to check it out but it seems useless as every time I take a picture it comes out blurry.

Looks like the shutter goes about 3 times but without a tripod or something it's impossible to hold still enough to get a clear shot.

Yep HDR pix are blurry on my end also
 
I still can't get video recording to work, even with third party application. When I go to the gallery I see some videos, but can't be played. Is there any setting that I'm missing?

Me either... Tested it out after reading this post and it won't work.


Last night after work, I plugged my phone into my car to listen to music on the way home. I thought, man this sounds like crap. Then I remembered ac!d sound mod was not included in Version 20... Flashed it on my own last night and am happy to report that it works just fine!
 
CMB said something about aanother release tonight. I haven't had any issues with reboots on FFeb 27th release.
 
I have an interesting Problem....After I get stuck in a boot loop ..I am not able to restore a nandroid? I am on ext4 rls5 v9 anyone else have this issue?

Happened to me today as well. I powered off my phone for a bit and when I turned it on, wouldn't boot.

Out of curiosity, had you flashed the updated gapps (gapps-jb-20130301)? Because I did that today so that Goo would stop pestering me and that was the first boot problem I've encountered on this version. Thought the timing of the gapps flash a little suspect.


Edit: I am on the March 1 build.

I'm on the same recovery/version and have never had a problem restoring a nandroid. Is it possible that your backup is corrupt? It happened to me one time but you would probably be getting some sort of message about it...


This may be a silly question but do you do a full wipe before restoring backups? I mean I'm sure you've restored many backups without issue so that question is probably irrelevant anyway...

I'm not sure what would cause this other than possible bad backup. Do you have another backup you could try? Also are you s-off, I can't remember? If not, is it possible smart flash setting got changed? You could flash the boot.img for kicks to see what happens?

I guess before speculating too much, what exactly is happening when you restore? Does it abort? Will it just not boot afterward?

Maybe it is a bad backup...Will try another next time...and YES.
I did just flash the new GAPPS....maybe thats it....

Usually I don't do a full wipe - but had an issue last time too...so full format wipe etc.

No Booty - no errors - just hands on the Boot animation.
