Someone awhile ago said it's now possible but lord knows I can't find the setting in my user CP.
I'm glad that it is not just me that is at a loss. I have wasted a lot of time trying to navigate and find my way around this updated forum.

I certainly wouldn't describe it as, "user friendly". More like a, "dogs breakfast".

Sorry guys but I do not like it. :(

Back when this forum first went "Xenforo" I was so miffed and hoped a Firefox extension existed that could theme it to look back the familiar vBulletin UI, you know, like how YouTube Redux works. Certainly such an extension exists, but I've yet to find it. I did find extensions to bring back 2010 Google search as well, so there hopefully exists enough add-ons to theme the parts of the internet back to their better days?

Thanks! I must have missed that whilst I was searching for my Favourite Forums. I hope that this is implemented sooner rather than later.

By the way, does anyone know how I change my signature now as I notice it is out-of-date?
As of yet, not even Mods can edit their own, but let me know what you'd liek in there and I can update, or just remove that

OK... I admit it, I'm lost!

I cannot seem to find my favourite forums any longer since the site has been updated.

Could any kind soul take pity on this miserable wretch and post some links to the following forums, please...

Galaxy Z Fold4

Galaxy S21 Ultra

There are others but once set on the right track, I can hopefully figure them out for myself.

Alternatively, how do I add a thread to a particular forum.

Apologies for being as thick as 2 short planks and I blame it on COVID.
Is it safe for me to assume that after 4 months there are still no specific device forums?

At present, I am just posting new threads in the manufacturers section of the forums and pre-fixing it with the device model in the hope that someone sees it or that a Mod moves it elsewhere. My only method of monitoring is via my Watched Threads.

As far as I can see, if a poster has a question about a device that I am familiar with, I need to read through all the New Posts. Something that I neither have the time or inclination to do.

Sorry about being a Moaning Minnie but these forums no longer appear to be intuitive.

At this point there are likely thousands if not tens of thousands of android devices.. I just don't think that's very feasible from a logistical perspective.

But I could be wrong.

XDA Forums and Android Central, to name but two, seem to be coping with multiple device forums. To my old fashioned way of thinking, this is the most logical and convenient format for users.

I realize that I'm looking at the forums through a mods eyes. It's far easier for me to monitor activity and to clean up the undesirable than before. Posts scattered across so many device specific forums was a nightmare from a mod's perspective.
The layout we have now is far from perfect and will not suit everyone. If we see any changes it will be Rob's decision.

I see your point about it being easier for the Mod's but from a users point of view, I find it a nightmare. I just think that if anyone is thinking of getting a device or has just got one, it is easier if they can go to a devices forum and read all the Hints & Tips, Cases, Problems and Solutions in one thread. I used to monitor the threads of the phones that I had a knowledge of in case I could help people but this is no longer possible. Now I only visit to create a new thread. I really do not have the time to read through every single post in case it applies to a device that I am familiar with.

I suppose that only time will tell.

I sympathize with you @ironass, and I've always been a big fan of your contributions. The problem the site was having is that device forums weren't getting any traction. Even the best of the best Samsung and Pixel flagships languished with just a couple threads (many by you) that got limited views and fewer replies. They became small islands where only the most dedicated went. Android just isn't exciting enough to have device specific conversations anymore. Even in the conglomerated Samsung forum, this thread (Happy 9th Birthday!) that you posted on 4/10 and had its latest reply on 6/11 (over a month ago) is still the 12th most recent thread. FOR ALL OF SAMSUNG!!!!

I truly wish it was like the old days, but it isn't. The forum has to adapt or die.

P.S. Mind you, I'm along for the ride too. It's all up to @Rob, but I know he will listen to any ideas anyone has.

Hey @treb1797 @olbriar I moved 30+ threads into the NFL Forum.

We can add/move more and create new leagues soon. Holler at me with any specific requests!

You'll see on Daily Net the sports are organized like:
Sports > Baseball > MLB

Whereas on AF they're organized like:
Sports > MLB

I do see some discussion on other baseball/football leagues beyond MLB/NFL, which I imagine could create problems in the long-term, but for now I think this is a no-fuss solution that will please 99% of people.
