It was in a way.

I actually prayed to God I would believe if He allowed me to leave, and it happened that night.

There was good in it, but still like the saddest Christmas I ever had lol

But believe me it'll make a stronger man out of you, as long as your still alive and kicking theres always hope.

this is very special time for me, will spend all my time with my loving family. this Christmas i will give presents of their choice. I wish GOD bless me more and more Christmas celebrations with my family.

i'm not sure if i'll be able to enjoy Christmas this year. Just too much worrying all around about all kinds of things :(

Typical Christmases are spent with family, but I would rather just stay home with the misses and wee lass to relax. We decided to not exchange hefty gifts this year since we're attempting to save some money for a new home.

It's only 8 weeks now. How about your Christmas holiday plans? How are you going to spend those days?

Yeah, I know, it's still 17 weeks. But Christmas is coming.
What are your plans, traditions? Going on a holidays, spending time with the family, or avoiding them? Buying your presents as early as possible or waiting for the last day?
Ho-ho, Santa is coming!

I spend it with family (luckily my family all resides in the same town). I have done all my best shopping the week before Christmas. It is still too early to do that shopping as there are at least two more birthday's before then for me.

The title of this thread reminds me of this song

Definitely Im going to cook casseroles (potato, carrots and turnip) by myself. I did them on the last xmas too and they were much better than bought ones from a grocery store. Rosolli salad too... But I have no idea what I buy for the bf. He has already everything. Well, he was talking about a new phone. Should I buy a new Nexus? Aarrrgh! Why is it always so difficult!?

But on this xmas Im going to relax alot. It has been quite hard at work, too much work etc. I have 2 weeks holiday on xmas so I have some time to do "nothing" :) Probably Im more out and skiing (cross country) if there is enough snow outside. It should be snowing on this month, but now it's raining and it's something like +8 C outside. Oh boy... Hopefully it's comming colder...

A lot of people are tired of Christmas music in the stores already.
I'm trying to collect "fractured" Christmas carols to annoy the diehards back.
Here's one:
The Straight Dope: What are the lyrics to Walt Kelly's classic carol, "Deck Us All With Boston Charlie"?

Deck us all with Boston, Charlie
Walla Walla Wash and Kalamazoo.
Nora's freezing on the trolley

It does get attention if you change the words. It eventually dawned on quite a few people that my daughter was singing "Born in East LA" from a Cheech and Chong movie, instead of "Born in the USA" She liked Cheech's version better.
