oh no offense taken
this is the first time ive ever mucked with an lg device, so im hoping someone who has a lot more expertise (playfulgod wtf man, youve been on deck for a couple of weeks now...
) can jump in and help. the data backing up is still a very real bug, and i apologize that i cant fix it.
as for teh cwm bootlooping its fixed by having stock recovery, and by the fact that it happens on a few other lg phones.. then im gunna have to guess that doing a hard reset via those buttons sets it into a scan mode where it detects an altered recovery and fails to boot further, thus causing a cwm bootloop. again nothing i can do about this and if better devs than i have had this issue on othe rlg devices and it never got fixed then im inclined that this is a security feature by lg.... cant prove it but thats what my money is on at least :/
luckily i do have the "CWM de-looper" zip. simply load it onto your sdcard and flash it in cwm, it will flash the stock recovery for ya and tada! you will boot normally
a hassle, yea but butter than having to run to me to fix it everytime
what i said still stands IMO, there was a lot of people coming to the irc channel looking for help on how to fix it, and so many of them would even mention that they saw other people with this issue... stuff like that gets old after the 5th-6th person ;P
anyways i actually came in here hoping i could find a possible beta tester for somethin snazzy
