You're welcome.
Yeah on all the jellybean ROM, even stock, you have to got to settings, about phone or device, and tap on the 'Build Number' 7 times and then Developer Options will show up so you can set USB debugging.
The only problem I'm having with CM 10.1, is that my wireless networking sucks. If I'm on T-Mobile's network (3G/4G/etc), about half the time my network says DC or E, and it's really slow. On CM10.0 (and other 4.1.2 based roms), I'm always on 3G or H+. Any ideas about this?
I haven't ran CM 10.1 in a while, but the release candidate is supposedly the most stable. You could install it, make a backup in recovery and try newer nightlies and if they have a problem just restore your backup. After you install jellybean and root it, be sure to make a backup in recovery of that. Its always good to have so you can restore it if you have problems with CM 10.1.
Now that Im running the RC of 10.1 can I just flash the nightlies without wiping all my data? How do I go about using Nightlies?
Cheers,
T
CM 10.1 stable is out now as well.
This is the final NON-RC, NON-Nightly release?
Yep, should say stable right there at the top. Just came outa couple days ago, I'm loving it so far
What do you like about Jedi Mind Trick that makes you want it? CM10.1 was the first flash Ive done so I would be interested in pursuing others and seeing what they are like.

The nightlies for CM 10.1 from TeamChopsticks are now Jellybean 4.2.2. Tethering and wifi hotspot work.
Its very smooth. I like it.To download the latest nightly go to this page. If you are installing for the first time or doing a clean install, you also need to install this gapps (google apps), 20130301.

Hey sleedeane. You can just use that guide to Odin straight to jellybean. Then you'll have to reroot which is pretty easy with jelly bean. Check the how to root sticky at the top of the page.![]()
No joy. Can somebody please explain to me exactly how/where I put a sub-folder with Odin and the ROM in it? Once I download them, they go to two different places and I think they need to be in the same folder.
I can't get the JB ROM to show up in Odin.
Does my question make any sense?
Thank you
Are you talking about the stock JB ROM? It doesn't have to be in the same folder. Are you unzipping, extracting, the ROM file? You need to extract the tar file and then it will show up in Odin.
Yeah... the stock one.
I got the tar file to show up in Odin but I get "fail" because it "can't open the serial (COM) port".
What now?
Thank you
I am new to the T-Mobile GS2. Just got it yesterday..Rooted and put the CyanogenMod nightly on it.. Love it.Love the stock look running 4.2.2
