i agree completely- this rom is super smooth and fluid for me. if someone who wasnt familiar with htc or cm picked up my phone and used it for a few days, they prolly would never know it didnt come that way. its smooth, this last biuld required no workarounds, there are no glitches that ive come across yet.
this is 100% as good or better than any "official support" RC or nightly ive run on my droid 1 or incredible. folks that keep sayin "ima wait for a stable release" this is it! give it a shot.
with mr1 rc1.1,i experienced occasional data loss. id have to toggle airplane mode to get it to return, and sometime toggle 3g to get 4g. texts would stick on "sending" on occasion.
with mr2 rc 1.1,i expereinced the same. twice in one day 3g disapeared and wouldnt come back with any work around... had to reboot to get it back
rc 1.2 has polished up fantastically. i handed off from wifi to data, back to wifi, from 3g to 1x and 3g to 4g with no prollems. no texts stuck. no data loss at any time.
may be time to send a lil more slayhers way
as far as mr1/mr2 i personally have not experienced any benefits. cell signal is about the same,as is 3g download. 4g may actually be a lil less down with mr2,but id need to play with it some more and do several more speed tests in both. at my house i got regularly 8-12mbps down. i ran 6 or so yesterday, and they were 8-9mbps. maybe a fluke? on the GB roms, now that i think of it,i got about the same down(8-12mbps),so prolly a fluke or wierd network issue.
if youre on mr1 and having great luck, based on my experiences(your mileage may vary

) youre not missing out on anything. the grass was not greened over here for me.
having said that,i prolly wont change it back to mr1 radios for awhile. again, not much reason to,performance is about the same and sticking with the GB radios makes it easier(and a lil more tempting) to play with the GB sense roms here and there
