im really surprised that workshed has done it,since he is officially supported by CM... id think that for him it would be a big NO-NO :eek:

for you... your using CM source,but not working on an official CM project,so i think youd be fine. condemned cm7 is really not different from that perspective than xtrsense,or any other sense rom that has them.

but i may be totally wrong on that. :D i personally dont mind a seperate gapps flash,and dont really feel like its worth making google angry ;)
 
Living v9.. one? How can I change the wallpaper? Downloaded a few basic ones and can't seem to set them as the wallpaper. Is it because I have the stripped version?

I noticed that the stripped version is missing the live wall paper module so I went back to full V9. There's not much difference in size now anyway.
 
I'll finally get to flash the new version today. I've been busy with work, but the case settled today, so no more 14 hour days, at least for now. New Condemned cm7, the best way to end a good day.

Gotcha... cool. Well good luck with everything. I've heard that law school is a lot of work. I always thought it would have been fun being a lawyer but I took the foolish route and didn't go to college. I chose tech school for a year which was a waste of money. But I was the one paying my way because my parents wouldn't help lol.
 
I was having problems with my GPS in v7. It would find where i was, then freeze. Or, it wouldn't find at all. When I was using MacRom, it found right away and worked like a charm.

Is anyone else having a problem with their GPS, and if so, was there a fix in the new V9?

If there wasn't a fix or if it's just me, does anyone know of a way to increase the accuracy and the effectiveness of the GPS?

BTW, great Rom. Was unrooted for a while when I got my refurb, but since coming back to the dark (or light?) side, this has been my everyday go to rom. Great stuff!

Yes. It appears to be working in V9. :)

On your xda site, it still says, "V8 should be ok to dalvik and cache wipe only if coming from V6 or V7." Just thought you might like to know. ;)

Thanks for pointing that out. I'll fix it soon :) lol. Same goes for 9 and yes. GPS was fixed in 8.5 ;) lol

Back on topic, everything is working great, CS. Great work, as always. By the way, did you add some notifications? Harley Davidson isn't one I recall seeing.

I'm sure you will man :) the job I used to have at one time I was someone you didn't want to see lol. It was a cool job though I thought ;)

Oops.... looks like I left the ghost rider notification and ringtone in when I was doing them... my bad lol. That was a mistake. Seems like the Verizon tab still says my apps in the market too.

You were a repo man?! :eek:

Why in the world would you want to change the tab back to Verizon? I always thought that was a waste of real estate. The my app idea is much better. I actually use it now.

I agree with you on the my apps tab but there's alot of people that do complain about that.... I haven't had any complaints yet though.

You could kinda call it a repo man... I worked for a funeral home and picked up the new clients ;) lol.

I'm uploading 9.5 to the dropbox if you guys want to test it out... I'm running it right now as well, so far it seems pretty sweet. I made some changes to the boot image that should allow me to get rid of the local prop file to help speed up LP among other things ;) seems really smooth so far. If all is good I'll make a new release soon :)

I sort of agree until I tried (this is on GSB 3.5, not this ROM) to install Verizon Messages. The app will not install because Verizon is not sensed as the carrier. Also, I tried to activate the phone in the Mobile Defense app (losing my phone a few weeks ago freaked me out about privacy and now I always do this after setting up a new ROM; I had been lax) and it could not recognize the carrier.

I'm not sure if this is the case with CS's ROM, but it was a pain with GSB. (Workshed found a temporary workaround - https://market.android.com/details?id=ch.racic.android.marketenabler&feature=order_history )
 
Awesome Rom- CS. Just as fast as my Charge..too bad you can't make the Eris screen bigger..lmao! GPS is right on . Noticed a new setting under CM performance..that you can now increase VM heap size to 48m ..hmmm ..

Also I see you increased the speed in windowsmgr.Max events to 90.

Thanks gem... guess that Charge is pretty damn slow then huh ;):p lmao. I've been trying it out this afternoon after going back to V9 with VM heap set to 48.. seems pretty smooth so far. Hopefully sometime tomorrow I'll be testing my remake of 9.5 to see how that goes. I think I found where my discrepancies were in it. I think though that it might end up being a full wipe if I add the changes and that also could be what was causing my instability since it's a good amount of changes in the boot image.

On a side note... I should have my Inc in the next day or 2. I have an email to one person for one that I can activate but if that falls through I have one I can get for $50 but it has a bad ESN so I can't activate it which will make it hard to test some things for ROMs but I know a few that can do those parts for me ;) lol. I also have a ROM just about ready for it just trying to decide which kernel to use with it :)
