See...soon

Birdman has ADB running in his recovery. None of this is packaged or polished yet and can easily brick your device. A bit more research and the basics should be covered and something packaged. I don't want to quote any timelines yet and risk anything, but "soon" you should reap the rewards of his DAYS of work (he's literally eating, sleeping, hacking, I know this for a fact because I'm in communication constantly helping with bits here and there).

Just read that, awesome news, I hope soon means a day or so.

Forums were down earlier, they probably had to do a restore and lost the posts from yesterday in the process.

anyone notice that Birdman's Twitter account is now..."not found"?? What's up with that?

And what the heck is DXR stand for? (I'm guessing Droid X Root?) But can't we do that already with Easy Root?

My guess is DXR stands for DroidX Recovery.

DXR = Droid X Recovery, maybe ??

I hope nothing happens to them.

They may to watch what their saying on video though. Remember what Apple did over their lost phone. I/we don't really know where that developer came from and if their was any shape business involved they could get in trouble.

Can't wait, the only thing I don't understand are the two tweets before that?

(No twitter at work so I can't copy them)

Koush maker of Clockwork recovery said this
koush

Throwing together the Droid X recovery now.

AllDroid was like wtf we did all this for nothing
AllDroid

Looks like @koush is about to prove our time a waste unless it turns out we have a better method. Since he didn't want to work together ...

And then they realized even if he does release his own then they could combine it into theirs

AllDroid

.. we'll have to wait and see what he turns up and maybe just toss CWM into our recovery scripts for another recovery option (same UI).

Then they just decided to see what happens:D

AllDroid

Either way, looks like a recovery for DX will be out in the wild soon :)
