Root D3 port?

sure would be nice if someone could just package the blur version and port it to the X. However i wonder if any of it is depend on 2.3.4 and/or a dual core processor?
 
My son got his Droid 3 yesterday, an early birthday present from us. It is really nice, not that I would want it right now as it is not rooted yet. However it is really nice just like stock GB is for us. The motoblur interface is even a little better than what we have on the X. However putting a different launcher on the X makes it just about as nice. If I was ever going to go back to a physical keyboard I would go with the D3. My wife has a D2G and I could never go to that phone. They made the screen a little bigger on the D3, not as big as the X. Biggest failure right now on the D3 is that it can not run netflix yet. I tried a bunch of different apk's and none would work.

Even getting it set-up for him and playing with it for a bit yesterday I was happy to have my X back in my hands. Not a big enough upgrade for more to give up my X in two weeks when I have my upgrade come up.
 
i could implement some of the D3 stuff in with the theme im creating for apex, liberty, and cm7 just let me know, its kinda where i have been the last few days, png's and .9's are a pain in the butt if you know what i mean, and redoing this whole thing for GB is a pain.

im tryin to get bouchigo to help me out with an idea i have for the battery icon, since i dont think alot of people liked the X battery icon i created.

if someone has a battery icon they created and would like to see it in my theme let me know. or if you have any ideas on 1 let me know as well, i have one in mind, that i sent to bouchigo, but havent heard back from him. when i created it, it was made a little too small, so i have to widen it, but everytime i do, it just begins to look kinda ugly, so i would hope someone had better luck than me, that and being frustrated on it, i needed to either take a break from that icon or ask if someone wouldnt mind helping me out with it :p

im just not sure if its a good idea to leave it that size, cause everytime i tried to make it bigger, it gets screwed up :(

Honestly, if you create a theme using d3 stuff, I'd flash it, VS. :D
 
I would be very interested in seeing these new droid 3 visuals thrown into a theme for our X's. Even if it was just a copycat blur theme.
 
so could i go into the framework of each system dump and change out .png and add things to the pre-install?

also where do i find the lock screen?
