nah just not been nothing to report really. I found out whats causing the launcher to fc and have been working on that tho. ;)

For all that have been wanting to help, my repo is semi updated, doesnt have the changes I've made the last 2 days, but I've not got the issues fixed just 'yet'

Its something with the egl n related libs.
 
You do know that you CAN reboot the device when using the CM9 you uploading without having the infinite boot animation, correct? I made a post about this previously but was not sure you read it.
 
Yea, I was talking to you PG, sorry. I do remember you saying that we are unable to reboot once we boot one time into the CM9 build you have updated but I was just ensuring that you saw my post about being able to reboot without reflashing the ROM.
 
My girlfriend sold her Esteem and got an Admire in the trade so I went looking to find all the roms.... They have CM 7.2.... I sold my Admire to get the Esteem now I kinda wish I would have kept it.... It's still buggy and I ended up having to find someones CWM backup to return her phone back to stock but hey....

I miss my Hauwei now:confused:

Oh well I have an Esteem and plenty of roms to play with so all I can do is wait...:D Until then I can screw up my girlfriends phone until we get CM 7 or 9:cool:
 
I want to comment on this PG why phones like the Ascend, Admire Optimus have cm7 running is it because is a bigger community or more devs working on those devices that have been out for a while now?

actually it was months b4 the ascend or optimus got cm6/7. Hell the optimus was out for almost a year b4 it got CWM, and that only came about because I think Iwas either asked to do it, seen it hadnt been done yet. CM7 for the optimus came about because the only option available was a kanged ROm built by someone else n being claimed by a low life pos that was dumb enough to tell me I was ignorant and the community would be worse off w/o him. A week later the optimus c/m had a real CM7 port from BobZhone n myself based off IFHO repo. ;)

The esteem/revo/connect CM7/9 is going so slow is because afaik I am the only one working on it/ ;)

This. The esteem has plenty of shit for people to play around with so there should be no rush by anyone for this.

Plus at the rate metro puts out good phones, we should have our esteem for a while. I know i will. I don't see myself getting anything else for at least another year. I'll buy and buy off ebay until its dry if it comes down to that.

Or if the samsung galaxy s3 pleasures me in ways never heard of. :D

These might work on both the esteem and the connect... says it supports all 2xx adrenos. The esteem being a 205, and connect 220.

had those for awhile less they had an update?

Tried em anyhow, and umm they work, Trebuchet (launcher) not in fc hell, but thus far is laggy as hell. RIL not working tho, so still not usable.

May upload n post it anyhow tho.

Oh and I put in a request for the esteems CWM to be upgraded to the touch based for those who wish to buy touch recovery. ;) (yes it will still work w/o touch :))
