Hey PG, i doubt this'll help but ya never know; i found a site where they have open source codes for adreno gpu drivers that can be altered by devs for features and etc. Its made by a 3rd party. U want me to link ya?
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
not unless it has boardconfig.mk flags for LG devices lolHey PG, i doubt this'll help but ya never know; i found a site where they have open source codes for adreno gpu drivers that can be altered by devs for features and etc. Its made by a 3rd party. U want me to link ya?
Its just a matter of me getting it config'd correctly. I have it where it shows /sdcard/_EXTERNAL_SDCARD not mounted , so I'm getting close on that lol.I looked back a few pages back and didn't see anything on this, but I do recall it being mentioned that the sdcard won't mount ? If so, what may be causing it not to mount? and is it an easy fix or no?
Just trying to think of different ways to tackle CM9 .

that one line he mentioned may help.... once I get my dev enviro set back up lolThis? [DEV][Info] BoardConfig.mk for kernel developer and AOSP (platform) developer - xda-developers
Or is it something i could pull from the phone for you?

Might be a few days b4 I can do anything, Kubuntu finally pi55ed me off so I install LinuxMint tonight. So now I have to reset up my dev enviroment.
another debian/ubuntu based distro, so setting up/ working with android will about like with ubuntu which is google n CM's supported os.Lol, at least some progress was made
Little progress is always better than no progress .
But, you switched over to LinuxMint ? Is that a better os for working with android in general? or with just Cyanogen?
dunno off the top of my head, but would guess its possible.Pg just a quick question bro they tell me cm7 and cm9 support Bluetooth hid devices is there another way to integrate that function into roms already released?
perhaps a new idea for the next public rom u releasedunno off the top of my head, but would guess its possible.

I really rather have FreeBSD, but to lazy to set it all out n figure out how to set it up for android lol.
But I was having way to many issue with kubuntu, so I figured it was time for a fresh install.
no ubuntu is supported by the two, Linuxmint is just another debian variantIf LinuxMint is Google & CM supported then it sounds like it will be way easier to work with opposed to Kubuntu. Judging by the way you said you were running into way too many problems with Kubuntu, a fresh install of LinuxMint sounds like a big plus to CM7 &. CM9, that would probably even help speed up the porting process idk, but it all sounds good
Now, I got to test out the recent poc that you released and noticed how laggy it was.. Then I thought about the Lg Revolution and how the dev got 2d/3d acceleration working with cm7 which made the launcher quicker.. Is it possible to port that across to cm9 to make the launcher a bit faster ? or no.. ?
I looked into it and didn't help at all too be honest. Off for the next few days so will be working a bit on it hopefully

And it might but he never push his cm configs to github only his cwm configs. He got stuck on RIL n stopped. My CM7 port is fine far as the UI goes, just got to get RIL working in it lol.
hope you are looking at git repos n not compiled roms lolDamn . lol
well i'll keep thinking & looking ^_^
Also, he mentioned using "libraries from the thunderbolt and other phones" that might be something you'll wanna look into also.
Im currently looking around at other cm9 roms to see if I can spot anything that might help with the 2d/3d acceleration, I'll get back to you.
Thank You for your hard work ^_^
hope you are looking at git repos n not compiled roms lol
you looking in the right directionlol so im looking for things like these -> https://github.com/thecubed/android_device_htc_holiday/tree/ics ?
If not, help point me in the right direction ? xD
for all the die-hard update fans... I am making some progress on the UI lagginess, but nothing worth a new upload yet
I like the way I upload now besides I post when I upload a updated zipThe more updates the better (People will stop asking...) How much has it improved? I was playing around with it today and it's making me even more anxious. By the way, I would donate but I need to save for stuff, after I buy I probably will. And is there a way you could upload cm9 through linux in a dropbox-like way (Never checked if DB was available in any distros...) So that way we're the most up to date and can see the changes you've made. it'll probably keep some requests at bay for a bit too.
P.S: Don't know if I ever said this, but thanks for the awesome stuff!!
lol, so what's causing the lagginess? Is the launcher partly at fault? Because (said 1000 times before) using a different launcher helps... also overclocking cpu at 2ghz. that helps a little too... well it seemed toI like the way I upload now besides I post when I upload a updated zip
something in how EGL is handled from what I can tell as I have it all broke atm lol, so its either something not defined correctly in the boardconfig.mk or something in the kernel not jiving right in kgsl.lol, so what's causing the lagginess? P.S. How do you like my signature

you looking in the right direction
Basically stuff like ^^^^ for any device similar to the esteem with a semi working ics/cm9 port.
Whats really weird, and this is on LG, is the Esteem/Revo are msm8655, but LG has em compiling as msm7630.
