Perfect ! :D
and im currently looking into some ics stuff on the Droid Charge LTE Device, because it was pretty much the closest phone to the esteem opposed to other devices that I saw that actually had an ics build. They've managed to get EGL, Wifi, The Screen, Sdcard, and Google Apps working "on the first build." Unfortunately, I can't understand his Git Hub (https://github.com/jt1134) Maybe you can ? lol
Heres some info on the rom: [ROM][KANG][ICS][IML74K] CM9 ICS Port for Droid Charge [BUILD2][03/24] - Droid Charge Development - RootzWiki

I don't know if any of this information will be helpful, but you never know what little information could make a big difference :)
What I really need is info on msm7630 devices ;) but yea I troll github alot looking at what others have done ;)

@mario, yea I thinking some of the hacking I've already done on my kernel may be to old for some of the stuff I am trying to use now. May just start a fresh kernel later on today... after a nap ;)

Not a problem :D
Now, I started to search for msm7630 devices that had an ics build and so far I ran into a Evo Shift 4G. (Instruction Set: ARMv7, Has a msm7630 Snapdragon Scorpion Processor, and uses a Andreno 205 for GPU, etc). As I was looking for his Git Hub, I came across this; 7x30/htc-kernel-msm7x30 - Tiamat Kernels for HTC devices with Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7X30 processors. Fork of CyanogenMod/ht-kernel-msm7x30. ; Don't know if that will do anything for you, but its something . lol

Something makes up everything :D

not a bad find ;) I found a lge-msm7x30 kernel by Kali and porting some stuff over from it, like the 3.0 kgsl n adreno stuff. ;)

So far I have gotten the logcat errors mainly down too:
Code:
I/Adreno ( 190): ioctl code 0x400c0912 (IOCTL_KGSL_CMDSTREAM_FREEMEMONTIMESTAMP) failed: errno 22 Invalid argument

just a tad smaller than the last one :P
Had this increased performance or is this error preventing the device from functioning altogether? I don't quite seem to get the concept of free memory on timestamp and how it'd throw an error XD

oh it repeats it continuely lol. last paste was of the whole logcat too, now its mainly filled with that error. lol

Its just got a blank screen with the backlight on :(

I purdy much already did that with the kernel lol

Thanks, lol at the update request, but epayne you're not keeping to your word on the nightly updates lol:rolleyes: do that and im sure people will (at least try) to stop asking. and how can we get your latest build (did I ask already? I have bad memory:()

Well see this is the thing, epayne is just learning n limited in what he can do atm, he can only do so much with a broken base to work with lol, thus its almost impossible to give nightly updates. Personnally I dont have the time to do the dev work n try to keep u all updated of every lil thing I do, thus why I say I will post updates when I can. Far as uploads, I post when ever I upload a new build and update the links if needed. ATM I am keeping the file name the same just for ease on my part. Once we have a more workable alpha or even a beta I will start versioning them most like with the alpha/beta prefix n date of build. If there happen to be more than one build a day then they will have a letter added to the version.

At the sane time,.i am also in the process of the first couple of Weeks at my new job... Landscaping. Definitely a job that can wear you out when weed eating for 8-10 hours a day. Am doing what i can here. Am learning rather quickly and actually have learned a LOT between PG and from just messing around with things myself that have either just clicked to make sense or have just been obvious just not clearly seen as obvious unless some knowledge of how Android works. Either way, i am trying to du what i can with the new job, new baby, girlfriend, bills and figuring things out with a new device.

Anyone that i want to have nightly updates has them except for very recently due to the reasons listed above. Now, if i mislead some people on this issue i will go ahead and retract my statement if updates nightly. There will be updates once i am able to make progress with PG.

Hey what all do you need to build a rom I want to try this and learn is there programs you guys use can you post them I have nothing but time to learn and work them can you post software for me to use and build thank you so much

And congrats on the baby:thumbup:

Im pretty sure the program they use is called Linux. ;)
Actually Linux is the OS (operation system) most devs use esp when building CM7/9. Some are windows babies n cook roms and various other mods with linux emulators, vm, or use apps made for windows to do it.

In Linux is best tho ;)

dl the iso, burn it to a dvd, partition your hdd for it or have a 2nd hdd to use, run the dvd. ;)

Actually the dvd has the options to install along side windows or any other installed os too, so it will handle the partitioning. Or you can install it in a VM.
