Seriously though, as long as everyone stays polite and has good, kind-hearted intentions there is never a problem. :)
 
CM framework itself is just built different, were not combining frameworks, more like altering the system to use cm framework on 'our' hardware, zvb, c, d... it shouldn't really matter, but im not sure exactly how it works with the boot.img because i know we do need to use parts from ours to merge with cm boot.img

the zv... updates for our device are NOT only system updates, they install more to our device than your average 'custom roms' (at least i think) and supply a NEW boot.img, thats how they somewhat solved the reboot problems a lot were having.. but hey i dont work at lg or metro so dont quote me on that lol

I figured it would be something similar to that effect. I know there isn't going to be a dedicated CM ROM for each of the software versions, that would just be dumb.

Plus being that pretty much all the b,c and d ROMs and themes are interchangeable, to a "certain" extent, I figured that the CM ROM would be a universal ROM.

My facade of a "fake post" was taken too literal I suppose. lol
 
i flashed cm9 for the first time ever last night. I downloaded it...then got the status 7 error so i spent 30 minutes sifting through a million posts trying to find out how to get around it lol. but once i flashed it...it bootlooped twice before booting up. I just let it sit there for about 15 minutes without touching it or anything...and i can honestly say im stoked about this ROM. We have plenty of other things to mess with until this thing is fully ready...But great work PG and everyone else that helped. this is going to be a great ROM when its finished :D

Lol we will have to wait till at least a beta
 
i dnt see any different in phones at all like gs3 isnt it all it is is tht it has ics already, 1.5dual core, screen size, isnt it all the same ?
 
The sg3 is a beautiful phone. Just look at it? The camera looks fantastic. Its also going to run JELLYBEAN! The phone already has a CM9 so that's amazing. Project butter? Dang this phone is GOD lol the battery life is even good. The phones size is awesome. Idk what your talking about Martin :p
