It doesn't sound like he was asking for an ETA. More like he was asking to "shed some light" on what Cynanogenmod is.

It's a ROM used to emulate an unreleased version of your Android device. In our case, it would be Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS 4.0). This emulation also comes with improvements that even the phones lucky enough to have ICS won't have.

geeze dont worry guys just 2 more years and we will have the cm9 on the esteem geeze ya act like its 20 years.....
 
yeah i think were getting MUCH MUCH closer.. omg i cant wait to install it to my phone :) I wont take my hands off my phone when CM9 comes out :D

lol yes it is :p because this ROM is going to be a MONSTER on this phone. Its going to feel like a completely new phone. So excited for this.. even more excited than the Batman movie coming up this week!!!:pepsi:

haha yes it is its gonna keep me on the esteem for another while before i upgrade lol cause cm9 is legit nd sweet;)... haha i agree better than the batman movie lol;)

Those devs are fast, Randomblame has the thing fully working in under 4 days I think. I think we should holler at him maybe he will help pg? Maybe even a taste of JB lol.
 
Four days? Holy crap! They would be very helpful in making the CM9. Idc about jelly bean because I don't think that's possible. CM9 is what I'm very worried about. I need to know how a cynogenmod feels like!
