well with cm9 u could use a bluetooth mouse on ur phone and if u connect your esteem to your tv and a mouse to your phone u get a miny computer :D also the nintendo wii remote works great so that could turn your esteem into a console :D

Am I missing something i was doing big boy things ... ics or cm9 .... cm9 on my nexus7 hates Bluetooth
 
Anyways I compiled you latest build. (thanks for your github link) screen didn't even come on for me. Perhaps I compiled it wrong?

camera is lacking, will depend on processor etc & price. Best thing I seen it has going for it is 4.0, which I rather have a better phone than just a better os. ;)
 
The ram ain't a factor for me because I don't do heavy multi tasking. The cpu could be respectable. The screen resolution is passable. The camera isn't a thing for ne(I don't take pictures unless there of drawings I did.)

The storage is lacking but I have a couple 16 gig micro cards I keep around for music. I'll wait and night get it when esteem vmcan no longer hold up.

In that case it doesnt really trump the Esteem lol, dual core is it.

I'd rather get the other what's its face phone, with double both the ram & storage @$150.
I think that even with no multitasking, the ram is not sufficient....don't see the point of pairing a dual core with such a puny ram / storage.

I wonder, besides the S3, which other ones will support the new card standard @64gb and up....

the esteem supports the 64gb just fine had it for a while now and have it well over half full :D
 
I'm not sure why you guys are hung up on available ram so much. Android doesn't need a lot of ram to run. Its not like a windows machine where the more ram you have the faster the computer will be

.The galaxy s3 is completely overkill with 2 GB of ram. That is NOT needed to run ICS or jb
