LMAOWhile I haven't used CM9, and I do appreciate the work that folks do to bring these things to us, my tablet had an official update from Honeycomb to ICS and the differences on how I use it on a day to day basis were minimal.
I donated to the new phone for PG because I do want to see this project get done, but if it's a day, a month, or a year, I will be okay with it.
Also, some of those things you mentioned are more hardware related then software. You need a dual core processor to fully utilize multitasking and there is no software that will change the camera to a higher resolution.

I was given a galaxy nexus yesterday, I put the CM10 paranoid Android ROM on it, and I gotta, its amazing. It had stock ics and it was still nice. I can't wait to see it on our esteem

Lol my roommate gave it to me, says he found it so it more than likely has a blacklisted ESN and I can't activate it. But its still nice as a little toy. Gonna move all my games to it and just use it as a miniature game station. Just hope sixaxis works on it lol
Only stipulation was I gotta make his optimus m into a pure mp3 player,.take everything that isn't actually needed for it to work off and leave the music player...only problem to that is it doesn't read any sd cards...

I strongly encourage you to turn the device in to an authorized retailer for the carrier listed in the Settings -> About phone -> Status -> Network display.
They should be able to return the device to it's rightful owner--not just saving them the expense of the insurance fee (if they had it) or the replacement cost of the device, but its the right thing to do, no?

I've been coming here daily, to this thread since it was posted for CM9, I'm as impatient as you guys are, but I know I gotta stay patient! But we should get PG some days off work

I've done side-jobs over the years, and it never helped me get 'time off'... in fact, all it did was cut short any spare time I may have had, and took away from my weekends...

Our Devs need our financial help, for sure... but it's NOT going to help CM9 come any faster to the Esteem.

We can bribe him to work on CMx instead of work while at work.
Once we've done that, a few strategic photos of him working on our stuff while he should be working on his company's stuff and we can switch over to the much more pocketbook friendly blackmail scheme
