Ty btw careful when u tighten things up because I cracked my case and just noticed it tho if i was fussy I could just take it appear n superglue it lol but idc lol

A new thread in this forum so people can find the video easier would be a good idea.
 
powerkane i just linked in my sticky thread ur video which is very good watched yesterday....thanks for making ur right about not having any disassemble videos....remember remove sdcard first lol

Great vid powerkane but I agree mydian. A new thread would be the best place for it so people would have oppertunity to have discussion and also so it will reach the search engines when someone is looking for this. Ty for contributing to this community so much..

my phone just did something odd... I get Ramdump mode smem_ocil_tmp.c line=207 format

i also have a triangle sign with a droid shovling under it says downloading.. its the second time this has happend.
last time i just reset.. can anyone tell me what is happening?? running megatron 6.0.4
 
That's it. The first set of numbers is what your over clocked at. Which at this point you are not. How about your minimum setting?

I know I got the ram dump a couple of times. But usually after I modified something. By chance where you in the hidden menu?
 
Mine happened once when I was sleeping and the phone was charging. Obviously, something in the system changed and the system didn't like it. Not saying you changed anything. The only I can tell you is watch it for a couple of days and if it happens again reflash megatron.

sometimes what i've seen is "RAM DUMP" literally means holymolly too much TTYL!*done*

and then its melt down goes away X3 it can be fatal but often times then not you will be fine, the rom just wiggs out. but yeah as stated above if it happens ALOT kill data/dalvik/cache and re-install the rom fresh, preferably a new download of it.
 
If its like ICS or jelly bean, then your ram dump is just the phones ram filling up to much and crashing as a result. The difference is that ICS/jelly bean just restarts where gingerbread goes to the ramdump screen. I'd check to see if you are using any apps with a huge ram load if it happens again. Otherwise it just might be a bug. Linux isnt perfect but its close.
 
I haven't had a ram dump since about a month after megatron was relised mine is set at 1,613
I also have an extended battery and ive updated the prl n profile through system updates
 
I had ram dump a couple of times myself. No big deal, yet. I am also running the same at 1.6 but 1.4 is suggested and stable.
They just updated my prl to something I never seen yet. Get better signal at least.

It Should... The new update should be rolling out soon then chev n mav can work on it making the romance withe the mods I asked for with the whole beverage dispenser and holographic projected screen n what not :P
 
Lol... yeah I haven't received any update notices or anything. I walked out of work and all the sudden I was roaming. So just to be sure I updated my prl and there was a new prl.
Yeah the update you asked for should be pretty frickin awesome. One thing needs to added though. A button that will shut up all the stupid people in the world. Just point and hit button. Now that would be cool.
