OK so now I'm trying to revert to 5.1 to no avail. I tried to use the Odin DL, but dropbox always returns a 404 for the link and the "advance restore" method sin't finding 5.1 and zip installing isn't working either. Any advice?

Heres an unofficial update, people who are having gps and FC's problem please restote this nandroid to see if it fixes the problem. If it doesnt you have 3 options. You can stick with it, revert back to 5.1 or wait for 6.0 is released.

GPS is now working! Great fix Chev, thanks for all the hard work you've been putting into this rom.
hello all..i first would like to thank everyone involved in this ROM. Great work. Im not a dev more a tester of all..every system I own is modded or hacked in some way. And finally My tfu. Ive been following this seen for a week.I dont know why i didnt join android forums my first visit..anyway.this is the first rom ive installed.I see no reason to try any other. im running 5.3 Ive updated my baseband fc29.2.3.4 version.once in awhile my youtube player gets fuzzy blue screen same color as rom and is a lil wobbly.goes away after reboot.I have noticed that after or during reboot i get 1 vibrate ( possibly a notifaction of an error) and a double vibrate ( giving me a force close option) but only after my youtube goes blue.Not a big deal.For me everything so far is working great.Its an awsome Rom.Congrats to everyone and the hardwork youve put into it.

Use 5.3.1 and read the instructions on how to install the ROM in the OP i updated it. its supose to go in the /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup folder.

i did a clean install i restored some apps using titanium backup and then got fc again did cache wipe deleted the Android, android secure, LOST.DIR, and data folders. i followed these steps
1.) reboot into recovery.
2.) do a backup
3.) after backup go to the main menu
4.) go to mounts & storage
5.) plug your usb cable into pc
6.) mount usb storage
7.) on your pc, go to your sdcard and delete Android, android secure, LOST.DIR, and data folders. ( you can backup your whole sd to your pc if you like)
8.) safely remove from pc and unmount sd in cwm
9.) (still in mounts & storage) format system
10.) format data
11.) format cache
12.) (do not format sdcard)
13.) ***Go Back*** to main menu
14.) install zip from sdcard
14.) choose zip from sdcard
15.) (choose 5.3.0.zip in the list)
16.) let it run...........
17.) right after it finishes installing. (that means do not reboot yet) go to advanced menu
18.) wipe dalvik
19.) fix permissions
20.) ***Go Back***
21.) reboot system now

Use 5.3.1 and after you restore titanium backup apps you have to do a advance system restore.

The new update did not fix my GPS problems. Is there anything you can recommend?

Uninstall google maps and re-install it. Did you flash a kernel after you restored this update?
Go back to stock ROM then restore 5.3.1 after you do so do not exit cwm. Then do a factory reset and also wipe cache dalvik and fix permissions. If that doesnt work for you i have a build.that should fix tje problem.

Mediafire might be down for a couple minutes try again soon. We switched back to nandroid for a couple reasons. after the next update we will decide wrther to go with flashable zip.

Thank you, I'll try that and let you know. And no, I didn't flash a kernel afterword.
Edit: Just to let you know, my GPS indicator never appears. It doesn't just flash like I've heard some people say.

I've already installed 5.3.0, the new Bobz kernel, and the GPS fix, so is there any reason for me to switch over to 5.3.1?

Thanks working great! no more FCs. Had to delete map, reinstall from market inorder to get gps working. but dont see gps icon in status bar when gps turned on. can this be because i'm using green theme?
re: restoring system after titanium restore... do i have to do this for every app? whether i restore data or not? for user and system apps (although i would never restore a system app)?
