Doctor Who

Well if he had his own series, within the timeline, he wouldn't have done it yet. It would logically be a series about his fighting the time war.

But I don't think she was thinking at that level. I think she was just thinking about him as the Doctor.

Me, I'm just curious to see where PC takes it :)

And a second ZOMG for the curator! :D

Meanwhile, my daughter now thinks that John Hurt should have his own series :).

Yes, curator was a nice surprise.
But does it mean that Baker has now played 2 separate incarnations of the Doctor? I think so, and how cool is that!

I don't think a series of Hurt depressed about what he's done would go well
except we saw him regenerate at the end
He was awesome in the special.

"Spoilers, Sweetie!" ;)

Please take care not to give anything away for those who have yet to see TDOTD. Using
tags, as demonstrated above, is an excellent solution - kudos (and jelly babies!) all round. :)
Yes, I haven't seen it yet, and although I knew I was risking it looking at this thread, I couldn't resist seeing people's responses. :D

Good call.

Thanks for the hide tags. I haven't seen it yet, but couldn't resist the allure of this thread either!

Edit: now I can go back and read the hide tags! :D

I am new to the Doctor and as much as I dislike Moffat I have to say it could be the perfect episode. Could we agree on a week until we discuss episode details?

Now for some complaining, why do we have to wait until fall of next year for the new series? BBC really screws with the schedule of their best shows.

Anyone watching Atlantis tonight?

Figgered out how all presents can be delivered in one night.

It isn't Santa Claus that delivers the presents; it is DOCTOR Claus. Also he doesn't use a sleigh because he uses a TARDIS.

Well, the Doctor is part C.S. Lewis, part H.G. Wells, and part father Christmas, according to An Adventure In Space and Time. So, maybe delivering presents isn't that far off.

Literally just got back not too long ago from the theaters... Man that was a great connection between things. It sorta explained a lot for me too.

Can't wait to read everyone else's interpretations/thoughts on the movie after the "time lock"is lifted :p

Another one to seek out..... "The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot", a 30min spoof written for this year's Children In Need telethon appeal.

Written and directed by, and starring Peter Davison (Doctor #5), alongside Colin Baker (#6) and Sylvester McCoy (#7). Guest appearances include Steven Moffat, Russell T Davies, David Tennant, John Barrowman, Georgia Tennant (nee Moffat) and most of the DW production crew.

BBC One - Doctor Who, The Day of the Doctor, The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot

doesn't look like they restrict this one to the UK :)
