Yep, me too. If Bionic had HD screen -- even Pentile -- that would be enough for me to pull the trigger. Megahertz-envy is a losing game, and Bionic otherwise has solid enough specs to keep me happy for the next 2yrs.

Is this to say you believe SGSII will come with LTE on VZW? For me this is the question I can't wait to have answered. LTE is at the top of my "must have" list. I jut hope that whatever the next LTE device to get released is will show some improvement in battery performance.

And to think I come here to arm myself with information to pick the right device. I'm more confused than ever as to what I should get! :confused:

Interesting. Bionic is now tied with SGSII.

Well, if SGSII comes with LTE, I think I'm going that route, simply because display on Sammy's phones are SO much nicer than Moto's cheap alternative.

I was planning on waiting for the Prime, but if this link of upcoming Samsung devices with release dates holds up, I don't think I want to wait til end of November/Thanksgiving time. But who knows. I guess I'll see what's what on September 1.

I do wish I hadn't voted yet, though.
 
I'm just glad that my contract isn't up until the end of November, I'm thinking/hoping that a ton of these super phones are going to hit the market for the holiday season right around then.

That is terrible news. And according to this link, the SGSII will be selling for $100 less than the Bionic.

I don't know what Verizon is thinking, but they can take all the blame for this one. There is no way that the SGSII is not up to Verizon's stupid testing specs, when it's been on fire all over the world.

I'm thinking that Verizon probably granted Moto extended exclusivity despite the long stupid delays, and wouldn't release the SGSII any time this fall for that reason. Given the codependent relationship between Verizon and Moto, I'd be shocked if the Prime gets released on Verizon. They wouldn't want to take away Winter from the Bionic, too. This makes me sick.

Seriously, I'm definitely not going to give Verizon $299 for their stupid Bionic. AND if they don't get the Prime, I'm going to go over to Sprint. They still have unlimited data, for now, and their crappy version of 4G is still better that Verizon's 3G. And they sure as hell have better phones.
 
Well isn't that a bunch of crap. Bionic never did look bad in my eyes but the Sammy screen pulled me towards that. Time to figure out how i'm getting rid of this thunderbolt to get the Bionic!

I still don't want the Bionic. Crappy Blur, all that bloatware, and crappy screen.

What a sad day to be a VZW contracted customer. It's now Prime or bust. If Prime doesn't release on Verizon, I know Sprint will have it.

Rumor has it that the prime is going to AT&T.
