get your wife to let you spend more time with your DroidX. I have had mine for 3 weeks and though I have created an environment similar enough to my previous preferred environment, I am learning new things every time I mess with it. I don't think I will ever be able to quit tweaking this one since:
A) It is an open platform so the boundaries are limitless
B) There are so many things to find, install, learn, and perfect

I keep hearing, "Maybe you should marry your phone".

"Well maybe I will"

...is that weird?

.......................

I didn't say that! :D

Most women just don't understand.

Ohh... I've heard that one (and similar) from my wife... and my younger son who thinks he's cute.

My older son (we'll refer to him as the good one), however, treats the Droid X with quiet reverence and awe.

DROID 2 and X Pegged for March 2011 “End of Life” Status | Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog

Sounds about right. Expected shelf life on these guys is around 8mos.

I'm fine with that because the normal life of a phone for me is 6-12 months before I get the itch for the next big thing, which in this case should at least be LTE. Can't wait.

the droid x is my first smart phone ever !!! it is definatly smarter than i is .... i mean i am hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe

I thought it'd be fun to do a community madlib about the DX.

Didn't want to start a new thread, so I thought I'd post it here.

I've had the HTC Incredible for about 3 months. My Son's blackberry took a crap the other night so I got him a Droid X on order. I'm pumped up about it (as he is) but he's slightly miffed that after supposedly being in stock, they're on back order again. The expected delivery date is Sept 10.

I'm perfectly fine with that. Of course my boy having to deal with a replacement lg-vx9800 in the mean time is the pits for him. So anyways, glad to join the X family...

It's great to have 2 of the finest phones on the planet today!
