I did and was being reported and crap and then a mod weighed in and agreed with me! ha, made my day.

I was browsing there before the X came out so at the time the Incredible was the phone at the top of Verizon. Idk what their problem was but I left and now came back for the Droid X. IDK if they have cooled down or what
 
Don't understand who's problem? Us Inc. owners are a proud and stubborn lot ;) But like Steven said wait until Froyo hits the DX, the crazies will come out of the woodwork;)

this thing is awesome. 18 hours 30 min from when I unplugged it.

idle 9%
voice calls 8%

and 20% battery left... WOW
 
That android tablet looks awful.

Of course, I may be a bit bias..

Haha, really, we are nice, go to the official froyo thread and see people talking about how Motorola is mean etc, because they let froyo on the droid inc, and droid 1 before the dx and how they are having nightmares about it. So much drama, from grownups

I knew what you meant steven :) btw i hate your signature it is like that one "activity" that you aren't allowed to talk about and you lose by thinking about it... crap now i have to go see IOWA's thread.
 
The admins put out a plan to clean up the stickies in the forums. As a result, all stickies are in the ONE sticky at the top of the forum.

This will help to keep things both uniform across the board and will allow for MORE information to be kept "up top" as we won't be limited to 3-5 threads. :)
 
almost done for the day... What will i do with all this time? hmmmmm make it to 500?? nahhhh lets sleep :D
 
I am just wondering about what kind of phones vzw will in the coming months bring that can top the droid x, really besides a front facing camera, which i could care less about. what else, maybe ginger bread, i doubt that any phone will be released this year with ginger bread.
 
If u count the Fascinate, that phone makes a for a good argument. Depending on what features that mystery HTC phone has, thats another one. (I heard it may be the Inc HD)

Since having the X, I dont see anything else wanting me to upgrade or switch unless its dual core and LTE. If the Fascinate was out at the time I got the X tho...I woulda been trying to exercise the 30 day exchange between the 2 phones... The TV Out on the Samsung phones is amazing.
 
1 more hour till my first two days off in a row in over 2 months!! Cant freaking wait! Workin 6 days a week starts to drive you nuts after a while
 
New forum member here...introducing myself. I came from Crackberry to Android Central and now here...guess you could say I'm making my way through the forums! My profile does NOT fit the image of the typical high-end user (61, female, single). Ordered my X on the day it launched. Great device.
I'm semi-retired, show dogs for a profession, and travel a lot by big Chevy Express Conversion Van. The X has been a perfect device for making these trips out easier.

I'm sure most of the people in this forum are young enough to be my grandchildren...but, I don't feel a day over 30! Look forward to learning, sharing and having some fun here!
 
I freaking love this phone. I had a 3 hour drive today with the family. I was streaming slacker over my in car Bluetooth, running navigation, and my daughter was playing online games and watching videos on my laptop via my wifi tethering all at the same time and my phone handled it all flawlessly! This phone truely is amazing!
