***Droid X Software Update***

Just woke up, read that it seemed to be pushed out, didn't have a notification, manually went in and told it to look for one, and am currently downloading it.
 
Wow Im pretty pissed it keeps saying mine phone is currently up to date. Think Ill be paying Verizon a visit today this blows.
 
Updated in Texas.

Went to Settings --> About Phone --> System Updates

Downloaded & installed in 2-3 minutes. Now I have Version 1.13.604.MB810.Verizon.en.US

Also, battery level was showing ~ 20% when I started the update. After the update the battery level shows ~ 50%.

System also feels "snappier" and more responsive after update.

I'm a very happy upgrader!

Much cleaner looking, and it matches Verizon's redesigned website. It even has a Data Usage widget! I love widgets.:D Although I think a minutes usage widget would be useful too.
 
got mine in North Georgia...installing now.

***Definitely seems a lot snappier at least when going between different home screens.

I didn't get any notification about the update.. I checked settings/system update, and it was listed, so I'm grabbing it now.

Crossed fingers!

I wouldn't worry about it so much. You probably won't notice any difference at all with your phone before and after the update, so don't stress out over how quick you get it.
 
where in wny? i haven't got the notification yet, and before i get flamed, yes i know this is a phased rollout.
 
My GF called this morning and the volume of her voice blew me away. I had to turn down the volume below 50% to listen to her. I had the volume setting on 100%. Anyone else experience this?
 
Has anyone else noticed that when you charge your phone from a different computer, it says "SD Card Cannot Be Found"? Every time I plug my phone into my work computer to charge, all of SD card information is lost temporarily and my phone is set to use the default settings that are not stored on my SD card. Basically, I can't listen to music while my phone is plugged in to my work computer and my Home Screen widgets get reset and saved, so I manually have to change them back.
 
I just installed my update (I didn't get a popup notification, but it was available when I checked for it). The camera is superfast now! Has anyone noticed a difference in the auto focus? Before I would push halfway down to focus, hear the sound, and then push the rest of the way down to take the pic - two step process. Now I push the button and it focuses and shoots in one step.

The SD card can only be mounted to the phone or the PC, not both.
 
Had to manually get the update this morning. Definitely just seems a little snappier. I haven't had the chance to mess with the camera and what not.

I am using launcher pro and there haven't been any problems with the update...
