I will agree with you on that... but the topic is about the DINC and the X, and other phones like the Fascinate/Galaxy S, whose whole ad campaign is more about multimedia/entertainment than it is about business.I highly doubt that the designers of early Palms and Blackberry's had gaming and movies in mind when they designed those devices.
Really? Its all or nothing?
!
just read reading some posts on this and other threads...make me feel like my kind of new Incredible is like the N95 I had since 2007...maybe I should just get a Jitterbug instead..
After reading this thread..I came to the conclusion that the winner of this battle will reign supreme for probably 3-6 months..in 6 months or even less, both phones will be old old news...cellphones are so freaking disposable now..part of me just want to wait until this fast pace will slow down to at least once a year refresh instead of every 2-3 months something new will totally blow the doors off your "brand new" phone...just read reading some posts on this and other threads...make me feel like my kind of new Incredible is like the N95 I had since 2007...maybe I should just get a Jitterbug instead..

Stopped in to my local Verizon store today to play around with the X. I didn't stay for long but the only thing I actually enjoyed about it was the screen size. Opened up navigation and it was nice to have that extra room on there.
I pulled my Incredible out and kind of laughed at how the X screen looked quality wise... seemed washed out. Was also sluggish and even started off completely non responsive when I tried to switch between screens. Things seemed a lot less intuitive on the X. I didn't take the time to try out the camera and obviously cant comment on sound quality but I haven't been disappointed in my Incredible.
Overall, after I left I thought to myself that I would really like an Incredible in that size but that no one would be able to persuade me to pick up an X.
To each his own I suppose.
No see the inc makes colors look unrealistic where the X makes colors look how they are supposed to look not the way they are shown on the inc but the inc felt so junky i mean the plastic back cover i was alwasy worried anytime i took it off it would break and the protruding camera lens that easily got dinged up wasnt to smart either

Well after reading almost the entire post, I have to say it looks like most people would rather have the DINC. I am still within my EVO return period and was on the fence about switching to VZW for the X but I will probably keep my EVO, Sprint has been awesome and the EVO is very similar to the DINC.
Yes washed out always looks better the popping unrealistic.![]()

Then by that logic neither screen is better than the other....
A person who want realistic colors will pick LCD. Ppl who want "popping unrealistic" colors will want Amoled.
Take 2 HDTV's side by side. Make one realistic colors, the other "popping unrealistic" colors.
Which will looked washed out?
Its what u prefer.....

Right on!Could point. thats why id take the Plasma over the crappy LCD TV![]()
