I tried this a couple times using amonra and twrp but no luck. It was worth a shot though. I guess I should start looking for another phone.

I think you are correct and Rx is correct....toast...sorry
Can you bring it into Sprint? Perhaps they will offer a refurb, but don't know how much $$?

I don't think sprint will touch it now.
I found this thread at XDA. Looks like it was a dead end there too.
Thanks again for all the help here. Even though it didn't work there is no way I would have been able to troubleshoot it by myself like we did. I'm giving up on it and looking for a new phone.

I looked through that thread a year ago and there's some good info in there but nothing ever worked for my phone. Once nv is toast, there's nothing you can do but buy a new phone.
ok so looks like you are getting lost in the shuffle. so where are we at? maybe lets start a new thread. and when you do, can you give us a detailed explanation on where your phone is at? the more detail the better.
