Favorite App so far.... Developers please see link to Announcements above.

Humm I still don't like this kind of app

Thats because you haven't tried it!!! once you start seeing all this great info (where you traveled troughout the day, where you received your calls etc.) on the website you'll get addicted. Tracesaver doesn't collected none of your personal data just ask for your email, and they do not pass on info like your phone number etc to network operator companys just info like how well they are performing for their customers.... I mean you could help to improve your mobile network operator's service. The app is great trust me. ;)

Reading above, they basically monitor you and sell this info on!

Well yeah of course, everyone does stuff for a reason!!!! At least they are not making you to pay for the app! ;) and they dont monitor YOU as individual and follow where you go like stalking looool Just collect data that is valuable to network operators.

So they'd know your phone number, email address, where you work, where you live as well as other information. And you are ok with that?

I've tried a couple but I always went back to LauncherPro, and I love the widgets in Plus. The best Facebook/twitter widget for android IMO.

I don't use the Facebook one because it doesn't seem to 'remember' the games that I don't want to see posts about. Otherwise I love LPP because of the lazy factor of the dock ( I don't have to search for 15 apps - just scroll through the dock) and the resizing of widgets.

My other favorite app is Go Sms. I love being able to glance at the notification bar and see different color icons for different people - and even to set the vibrate pattern for individuals.

And I'm running a new one - checkbook was free on the amazon app store today. I was using Firewallet but there haven't been any updates or anything on it and I'm thinking the dev has done all he will with it.

You're moving to gingerbread?

Vote for Maestro Clock Widget.
It has analog display with digital reading of clock, date dan day information.
Also it has battery information. So complete!

Yeah but a lot of companys know that info about you anyway!!!!!!Didnt you know that already?

Tracesaver will not ask you for your address and stuff and 'other information'.....
tracesaver will not pass all that info about you to no one!!!when they are passing on info like network performance quality info they will identify you as 'unique device id' so no one will know not even your phone number.

I am 100% ok with them knowing my phone number and email address....lol what can they do with that.

What's everyone's favorite notification app? My new phone won't have LED notification. :(

I just want something that gives me some indication that I've missed something.

Depending on what you want it to do, I like Missed Call Deluxe for simple notification of missed calls and messages, James Perry is the dev. It works well, but he states that it is designed to work with the built-in SMS app and may not work with 3rd party apps.

I now use True Caller more because it's a caller id that that lets me see who is calling and alerts me to missed calls and messages. It also has several other nice features such as a call blocker.
TrueCaller - Caller ID for your mobile with TrueCaller

A lot of people like Mr. Number, but it has a $2.00 a month subscription charge for some of the features and True Caller is a one time $3.00 charge and does what I want.

There are several and I'm sure others will have their favorites.

I like Missed It. I believe it was about $1.99 and you can see missed calls / emails / texts / even google talk if you use it. Takes a little playing with but at a quick glance at the lock screen you know what you have incoming.

Have you tried NoLed? When your phone is asleep, it wakes up and leave a little icon, turning on a few pixels on the AMOLED screen, to alert you of a text/email or missed call.

What is your new phone? I have the Nexus S which has no LED. I use BLN to light up the 4 buttons at the bottom when I have a notification, and it uses very little battery. To use it you do have to root and use a kernel that supports BLN though.

I was looking in the market and came across this. It's supposedly done just for your phones that don't have the LED. Don't know if it's what you are looking for but it can't hurt to look.
