Root Favorite Root Applications

Where is: Wireless Tether for Root Users
I've found it on my android market, and loaded using your bar code...but
cannot find it on my PC in the market. Why, I keep a book mark of all my apps so when I have to get a new phone, I have a link to the 100+ apps I have installed. Went from Dinc to DX and forgot about 1/2 the apps I had installed and spent days looking for them. Anyone have a link to it on the market, specifically AndroLib.

Not so sure about Androlib, but this is the project homepage:

You were able to get DroCap to work? I've seen a lot of posts from DX users where the menu appears on the capture (including my own) and have since removed it because of that.

with drocap you start the application, then press start. Then you hit the home button. scroll to the screen you want to take a shot of, then shake the phone. Thats how you clear the Overlay off the screen

How it goes, Fab?
I'm going to try out AutoKiller. I'm not really fond of ATK much anymore. Looks like autokiller is much like Pete's script that adjusts Android's task manager's minfree settings.

Anyone have any suggested settings? The defaults were 42-48-48 and I'm testing 50-60-60 now.

DroCap works great on my Droid X. Like jreed2560 says just start it back out and it works fine

haha, i used to work at Rudee's on the Inlet for like 5 years...live in buffalo, ny now originally from p-town

i know its off topic sorry

honestly im thinking about rooting right not just for the screen shot app..
i am way way way behind on phone technology so i am kinda scared that i will mess the phone up and have no idea how to fix it and void my warranty... not too sure if i should just wait a bit until i get more use to the phone or what.. but i really really want to take screen shots with out having to hook this ****er up to my computer every time

I live on the water directly across the inlet from Rudee's! In fact, you can even see my house from there. :)

It's great meeting locals on here..

I uninstalled auto killer. Not sure what it is supposed to do, but I tried different settings and saw no differences. Although, When checking my running processes, auto killer itself was one of the biggest memory hogs lol. Could be a placebo effect, but I think my battery life improved after uninstalling it. After rooting, I noticed my battery life wasnt what it was before, and it made no sense since root is just SU. But then I realized the root only apps I installed immediately, one of which was auto killer. It's better now, maybe I was doing something wrong I dunno. I do like setcpu though.

Add in Copy Paste It. It is a new copy and paste app that will let you virtually copy text from anything. Gmail, regular mail, web pages, even images! It's bad ass!

Not bad ass. I copied their own example onto a yahoo email and some of it came out jumbled. It doesn't really give me the confidence to lay the money out for it at this point. I'll try it some more.
