Yes, power button = Ok/select, volume up/down = move up/down....
get into bootloader (vol down + pwr), use vol down to select recovery... let it load, may take a min, then go in and look for backup/restore, and preform a nand backup, select everything under the backup menu, it may take 2-10 min (possibly longer), Once that is done, u can select return, then scroll to wipe, go ahead and wipe everything except sd card, and wimax (cant remember if wimax is a selection in amon, but dont wipe it if it is), it is most important to wipe factory/data reset, cache, and dalvik cache... after that is complete, select return again, and look for "flash zip file from sd card (might say install instead of flash, cant remeber) look for the rom (whatever.zip) u put on ur sd card, and select it, it will ask if ur sure, (as it will for everything u do) select yes, and let it do its thing till finished, then select reboot, and wait... the first boot may take a while (up to 30 min, maybe longer depending on the rom u chose).
Its important to make sure u have a fully charged battery, and wait for the process to finish, just do as I said above, and u should be just fine.... The only thing that could really mess things up is flashing radios, wimax, etc... I know this from personal experience
Good luck
