Thanks. I bought the app. I like it a lot. Yesterday I had 2.1 and was not rooted. Today I have 2.2, flash and root. Great community and full of great info. I just have to learn to do my research.
 
Just loaded up the Drop Theme. Pretty nice, and they're right that the initial boot probably took like 3-4min. Can't wait to see some ROMs out though.

That one is my fav.
Loaded it last night - painless and the most flawless run I have had of this theme.
Not much missing and the market ADW launcher gets themed.

That was my only "issue" with it is that I use LP and it's not themed (well I guess the app button is). I noticed that the keyboard isn't themed though? Do I have to download that separately or use HTC/Swype?

Edit: well I guess that's as themed as LP gets as it's listed in the change log.

Best is to nandroid THEN theme. Easy fix if you don't like it.
The only other way is to flash another theme over it. I don't like doing theme on top of theme personally, I prefer a wipe, config, then nandroid and theme.

If you didn't nandroid, IDK.

ok well this was a completely failed experiment. To use an update.zip I would have had to include the complete apks which takes out any theme done to the rest of the app and not just the icon. I was starting to use metamorph and was about half way done when I noticed that in the thread on df for Dark Edge there is a stock icons pack for metamorph. It exactly what I was working on so I gave up. But its there if you need it.

you can change the color of the scrolling notifications with spare parts. well, the one that comes with Koushs ROM. :) don't have the .apk ... but I'm sure you can find it floating around somewhere.

I am pretty sure that the framework is different and I don't think the Spare Parts that is in Cyanogen will work on other ROMS. You can download Spare Parts from the Market...but the settings you are referencing are not included.

This isn't fact...just my understanding :)

EDIT: There is an updated version of the Blackmodzz theme that 'may' fix the issue with the black text...I haven't checked it cause I'm on to the FRF57 and have the BlueEnergy theme currently installed.

Don't have a theme to post but would like to request a smoked glass notification bar for Froyo?

If anyone runs across one can you post it here please.

Well now that BB is a 2.2 ROM...I think that someone might be able to pull the framework from the Smoked Glass theme for it and make it available as a update.zip...I'd do it...but I'm not that smart :D

I've been trying out different themes and the quality of these themes are just sick! :) I've been running NexTheme so long that the bight, vibrant colors are a great change of pace.

Trying Black Ice next...that looks slick!

This isn't really a request (but it kind of is ;))....I'm looking for a pink or purple (or both) theme for 2.2. I can't get my wife to switch her Phone to Froyo until I can replace here "Pink-life" themed ROM by JRummy :D

It's not much...but I'd be willing to pay $10 toward the cause so she will stop playing flash games on my phone :D
 
Did anyone else have an issue with Blackmodzz breaking wifi? That is the only problem I had with the theme, but unfortunately it's a deal-breaker. :-( It's also the only one I've found that still uses the stock icons.

I believe that all of these will work on any 2.2 ROM.

I have BB as well and I've ran the BlueEnergy and Black Ice with it. Both worked well for me...

Make a backup of your current (unthemed) ROM and then play around with it to see if you can find one you like.
