I don't see that website holding too much factual weight considering it looks like that website was just made and there are barely any replies, etc...
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.

I'm just saying that I don't believe Flash will be included in Froyo. Froyo will have incremental changes thus the 2.x moniker and not 3.x. Usually .x anything is always incremental, when you see very significant changes the first number increases.
Flash 10.1 can be delivered as an app. It's nothing that has to be embedded into the OS and should be as easy to install on a PC as it is to install on Android, just run an apk and your done same way you would install a regular app.

i just posted the links. take them as you will.![]()
Oh ok I apologize then, I thought you were hinting at Froyo coming with Flash my mistake.
well i happen to think it will, but thats just me. something i disagree with is the logic of saying flash is more than an incremental update, a numerical increase in the first number of a version is for updates that aren't incremental, froyo will be 2.2 not 3.0, ergo it will not have flash.
How does HTML5 and H.264 play into this all?
It doesn't, HTML5 isn't even a standard yet. And H.264? No idea why a video codec would have anything to do with this.

I'm still learning a lot about all these standards and keep seeing h.264 thrown around when it comes to conversations about flash and html5. Forgive my n00bness![]()
h.264 because it's being used on some HTML5 video streaming sites now.It doesn't, HTML5 isn't even a standard yet. And H.264? No idea why a video codec would have anything to do with this.

. HTML5 and h.264 are both what apple is listing as "equivalents" to flash, although come no where close to the ease of development and flexibility of true flash.Well the only reason that is being done is because the iPhone doesn't (and will never) support flash. Once 2.2 Froyo is released it will simply be an OTA update. Which if I am to believe what I've been told will be by mid to end of summer.TS
