Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

GAHHHHH!

Darling Bride got a wild hair up the tailpipe and wants the den completely remade into Den 2.0 and that means work for the ol' Chief!

First is to rip out the whole media center: equipment, TV, DVDs, tapes... everything gets unplugged, unwired and boxed. Then gut and remove the old cabinets. In goes the new, modern TV / equipment stand and media carousel. Move the furniture, take delivery on two new swivel recliners, and detail work. Bleah.

It's a pain, but it'll look great when it's done. But it's... it's... so much like WORK!

:p

Meanwhile, really boogery storms are coming. We're gonna try to break in the new grill with some ribeye steaks before they hit. Everyone be careful out there!

As much as I'd like to use a Chromebook full stop, the lady needs Office, so we're sticking with Windows. Ah well, this one looks quite nice (we went with the base model). Certainly an upgrade from the crap I'm typing on now. :)

Home at 330am. Bed by 5am. Water Authority in backyard digging at 7am. Ugh.

I tossed and turned as much as possible.

Cleaning up all the crap on our laptop in anticipation for the new Acer. It's a far smaller hard drive (though has SD expansion), but uploading nearly everything to Drive.
Hope everyone had a painless Monday. Mine has been as much so far. :)

Yeah, given the investment this laptop is vs. our current POS Gateway, I think it's about time we got serious about backing everything up. :)

Edit: Oh just forgot, no disk drive.... so USB stick?

So my G2 is honestly the best purchase I have made and the support for it is much better than people expected it to be with the past support of LG devices.

Running a debloated 4.4.2 ROM (pretty much stock though) with Xposed and a few modules and its super fast & battery life is still incredible. Gotta love the Android community.
