Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Thanks guys..apparently, pneumonia was pretty extensive. I'm getting the ultrasound of my heart today to make sure there's no damage to any of the valves. I was able to sleep last night pretty extensively for the first time in about 4 or 5 days. I still hope to be able to go home later tonight or tomorrow. But all cocky behavior aside I was very sick. I'm going to take today and listen to my body and sleep. Carry on. You don't need to reply to this.

I was blessed to still be here. The guy in the room next to me died from the same exact thing.

I'm not sure what to think regarding the One. They want to keep people in the dark, but I believe that's the general consensus. I don't think anything has gone through the FCC for Verizon unless I'm not remembering correctly.
 
Steven, those are some dangerous bugs and it's pretty unbelievable that you were trekking around in full vacation mode at the same time. Thank you-know-who that you are on the mend.
 
I'm glad that you're feeling better Steven and wish a speedy recovery. That does sound like it was very brutal indeed.

Ta-Ta total is growing. I'm in the
$1800 for raised monies and most of that is from my Android Forums family. :D

Dinner tonight with my Dad's twin and his family. Its a buffet place that has shrimp and crab legs. A lot of other stuff too but that's what I usually eat.

You see my bp had crashed too lie as my body couldn't fight off the sepsis.

They hit me with all sorts of stuff to stabilize me. I hit out if ICU and into a regular bed last night and was finally able to her some sleep. I feel much better. I hope they release me by tonight..

Geez man, when you get sick you go all out don't ya! :D

Their major concern was hour did strep get into my lungs. I have kid students.. Teens. That solved that. That's all they needed to hear.

Wugs just takes the control out of your hands. It runs scripts that do things through either adb or fastboot, but you should be able to do them manually. Are you trying to go back to stock, or just reflash a recovery and/or rom?

Also got to talk to and see my kids today on Skype! Miss them lots... But glad they got to do stuff with my family. Apparently we found out today my sister is prego with #7...all boys, except for one girl. A baby boy due in August.. Guess they will try again next year for a girl.
 
Wugs is Windows only. I tried to use it through Wine on Ubuntu 12.10 and Wine borked my internet connection. Don't ask me how cos I don't know but let's just say it took about a half an hour to fix. This is why I can't use Windows in any fashion. It breaks stuff. Ugh.

Sorry for the Windows rant. I know most people here use it or Mac but I just can't. :o:D

I have never had much success using wine for much of anything. I do wish I could find some way to get that usb wireless card to work with Ubuntu though. I still like 10.04 over new editions though so I might be out of luck.

So it looks like only CyanogenMod based ROMs will allow LTE to be enabled on the N4. Think I'm going to backup my AOKP install to test. I flashed the .33 radio on Build 6 and LTE never engaged. I love my N4 but I'd love some fresh LTE on T-Mobile.

10.04? Can't you hack the code to make it work on a newer distro? That is what I did to enable wireless printing with my Kodak printer, which had no official Linux support when I bought it (11.10; still working on 12.10).
