Galaxy S3 news and more !!

Careful there Ricky. This is the esteem forum, and gs3 talk is hitherto off-topic. That's why they locked the other thread.
You don't wanna get on earlyMon's back side. ;)

Either or, I would be satisfied with. But we get none. I like a specific month tho instead of the old "after September, before December" thing, lmao.

Exactly other carriers said the day and price metro is so special and so mysterious with this shit :banghead:

I had a tech rep help turn pic messaging on in my Motion a few days ago , she in California-me in Florida .

Asked about S3 release date-she said Oct 17 I confirmed with Corporate salesperson in Orlando -

BUT- unable to get anyone else to confirm.

Reliable local dealer South Fl. says they expect to have some this Friday in 4 days-writing this on Monday.

I've got the rubber cover and the screen protector off of some ebay points I had left over. (I've had'em since Oct 4th lol)

Make sure to get great protection you dont want the 550 dollar device to break, [;us if the digitizer breaks your out of luck buddy its almost impossible to separate it from the lcd/led. Well that is the bad part and the screen assembly cost almost 300 dollar.

me and my wife are getting our gs3s in payments from her manager.
shes also going to a training tomorrow. im a guessing its about the s3,
they also got a packet from samsung today. including all kinds of advertising for the s3. we're pretty excited. :D:D

i got a free case on zoogue. all i paid was the shipping.
just to start out my collection:D

Actually it's easy. The digitizer is usually connected to the front housing and it's the last thing you take off. Finding the parts cheap on the other hand is a different story.

Actually thinking about starting up a side business for repairing/modding phones for my area since there's no one around here that does anything like that. Im sure theres a lot of people out there that dont have insurance and have broken phones.

How muchwould yu charge? Cuase yur not far from me? Just for future reference. Lol

Depends on the phone and what it would cost for the parts. but just for labor I would charge $50. I think that seems fair. haven't really thought about it honestly haha

thats pretty cheap on labor i used to do it and charge 100 out of my house. not worth it for any less than that

Have you done any digitizer replacement on the GS2? Or the Nexus please let me know I would consider you helping me in the future of course paid lol. Because from research I have learned that replacing the GS2 or GS3 glass is almost impossible since its so thin, also there is like almost zero guide out there for GS3 or GS2 digitizer replacement, and lastly well I have experience replacing couple of other android devices and iphone devices digitizer but Galaxy series is another story.

I guess I enjoy working with my hands more than others being that I do it for a living :D

The work isnt hard at all and honestly I would feel as if I was ripping people off charging any more than that.

Have you tried taking the phone apart at all? Since you have some expierence with it, I would see how far in you can get and see what it looks like. I don't see there being that many differences between phones and how they are put together.

This might help?

Says you buy the LCD and digi together. Can get it from Ebay for about $120.

That's why i always buy my phones from bb. Their on contract phone may be more expensive without contract, but how often people buy those off contract? Their prepaid phones are priced like other stores. But they offer the best insurance you can get on a phone. If it breaks for any reason, including using it as a baseball, they'll fix or replace it with no deposit.

Both att and sprint announced their upcoming lg optimus g with release date and price but mysterious metro still has all of us asking and playing an wondering game :banghead:
