Maybe your Phone just dont want to play nice with the latest version. I had some force close issues in the old Froyo MIUI back in December but that was rectified in the next release. So perhaps you should try again this Friday.

To be fair to Mark, he doesnt know when the chinese dev wil implemend the dark theme until they release it for the beta testers during the week. Just check the main page for changelog on Wednesdays.
 
The official dark theme has been posted over at miuiandroid.com (as well as other places possibly) for the people who mentioned they were waiting for it.

I assume it will work to a degree with all versions of MIUI though presumably better on gingerbread.

EDIT : I should add I think its a preview/beta so there will be some issues with it.

The new dark theme is NIIICCCCEEEE!
 
On the MUIU site it says to download and flash the desire radio, extracted from the G7 Tools zip. Is it definitely required? And is it the same thing as the radios flashed with other roms. If it is, and I am happy with my current radio do I have to flash it or only if things like wifi 3G etc don't work.

As long you're happy with your current radio you dont have to change it.
 
I've installed miui and I love how quick it is and how different but I was wondering if I could get some help with a couple of things, 1, what is the icon at the top of the lockscreen with a number in it and 2, is it possible to get it so the miui message app uses Facebook pictures?

1, Is it a circle with 2 dots and then a smaller circle with a number? if yes then it is a notification.

2, Yes it is, download a program from the market called syncmypix

I never got such a quadrant score with any rom on my desire :cool:
rom is smooth n stable. may be couple of days will give better idea about battery life
 
Thanks for the help, one more quick question, is it possible to get miui to store all apps alphabetically on the homescreen pages?
Also can you get it so miui app share is in English?

if thats the data2ext version then you can drop that score by about 700
theres an after effect in quadrant for using data2ext which doesnt reflect its real values

You can organize apps in alphabet order in folders. Just click on pen icon on the top left side of the folder box and select sort by name.

MIUI app share is hardcoded in chinese nothing you can do to convert it to english.

yeah.

Miui is just GB AOSP with a UI. Built from the Same AOSP code as all other AOSP GB roms. If anything I would expect it to be slower

an I dont see any skylines above that...THOUGH saying that, there are a number of other Nissans there....not knowing my cars TOO well, I dunno if those others are just skylines under different names with the 'skyline' name dropped..:D
