Root Get Your Spoons Out, ICS Is Almost Frozen!

The advantage of running a newer OS is, among other things, newer apps. When you install an app, it looks for what version of the sdk your phone supports. The app may have been coded with system calls that didn't exist on older versions of Android, even though the hardware is up to the task.
 
Alpha 6. I feel the addiction coming on. Getting stronger. Look out phone here comes another ROM!

I put my money on Bob... and I believe tdm is going to be helping Bob with the kernel.

It is Bob's kernel were using for IHO. >.<

No offense to Jerry, I'm rocking his ROM on the reals yo.

But of course many devs have had their hands in all of this. So many devs now.... LOL. All that work and effort since I joined this forum has come a long way and you really can't say one is better then the other. Even with the IHO ROMs. They are all just tweaked a little differently then the other.

I've never been reading up on the forums this much since I found out ICS was working (kind of) on the V. I just can't wait until there is a solid working kernel. I'd be rocking quttra if it wasn't for the spotty 3G. Such a battery killer.
 
Bob's the kernel king along with blarf. Jerry is the rom king. I remember when he started about creating his rom allot of people said ok sure, same with Bob but look at them now. That's the great thing about iho they have great collaboration and always look for the better.

Couldn't agree with you more. Once IHO came out I was like, umm who's do I flash? lol
 
nope... all ive ever used in my phone life is SHABBYmod for the galaxy prevail BACKside Harmonia2 and quattrimus
 
I don't think y'all truly understand my addiction.
I will always stick with a JerryScript ROM. Been with BACKside since the begining(look at the first page). I have to flash. Just to see, and to flash. Then wipe and restore BACKside, aah!
 
The entire IHO team is working on ICS, with tdm finding the magick cure of luporhirp's vendor and device trees. BobZhome and tdm are both working on a kernel built specifically for the OV. And we are all trying to figure out how to organize the entire project to make it easier for everyone.

Out of respect for tdm's wishes, I will not be releasing an ICS based ROM until we get the entire project up. This will also help to make sure once we all do start releasing ICS based ROMs, they will be as fully functional as possible.

Thanks to everyone for helping test the alpha and betas! Your feedback has helped, and the pointers users have given to other projects has also been golden! ;)
